Are walls worth it anymore?

Even then, most attacks these days have golem-based killsquads, which normally include wall-breakers atleast on the entry layer, which is the difference between 1 loon or 1hog less or more. There are quite a few Valkyrie based attacks around nowadays too, and breaking out of the core can be essential in them too.

It all matters on your playstyle and goal in clash of clans

pros for walls
- protect your loot
- looks better
- if you want to be max 11 in the future you need them

cons
- hard to farm
- increase your warweight way to much in comparison to other structures
- you cant sell them

I farmed 100% lava walls on my main - just to see EQ come out and make them useless...

Whats the point of a wallbreaker anymore?

Even spending a BILLION gold on max walls - is pointless if 4 earthquakes can bring them down...

Get your walls up to level 7 / purple - so it takes 4 earthquakes.. then stop...

Walls will be always worth it.

On wars by the end of the attack they'll show the importance they have by on most of ground attacks holding some troops and maybe defending a 3 stars.

On farm by scaring the attackers :P

when I was a th 9, lvl 10 walls prevented getting tripled from opposing tens (I was 2nd on war roster, op no. 1 usually hitting me and would be a ten) so I'd say that's worth it. this is post eq update

i would say walls are great to a certain point, i would probably say at legos is a good place to get them too. Further up i am not sure if you want to grind it out from there.

With the extra 30 seconds to kill you, your walls, which are responsible for getting an attacker with better defence and better offence than if you had pink or purple walls, will do absolutely nothing except vs the most noob-ish of attackers.

Until SC reverses their position and stops counting walls, at all, (again) not farming walls is the way to go.

Agree with you, this 30 seconds more is a really pain in the ♥♥♥, but like you said, sometimes you'll be match vs low skilled clan (players) so they'll make some difference. In fact, for me that is a hardcore farmer, walls are pretty amazing because it don't get time to upgrade! Otherwise, what should I do without free builders and resources full? I know most of the players aren't just like me, but by this specialty the walls deserves love u.u.

I sadly maxed walls at th8. Before they didn't count in wars :( I do get skipped in attacks a lot when people are farming and very often they protect my DE when my WB traps kill well, wb 😋. But in wars? It's a nightmare, lol.
