How do I emoji in clan chat

For long time I thought it was an iOS exclusive (same as lots of other characters Android reads as "?")
But I asked around in my clan and Android people can use them too

We tried to get to a point but it seems everybody has a different way to open the emoji page or a different keyboard totally.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, unmodded/not jailbroken or anything

I have a standard Italian keyboard, it's mostly the same as the English one https://www.terena.org/activities/mu...bd_italian.gif (I can take an ingame screen if u want^^)

I tried a few external apps to install custom keyboards and they worked but they suck so they're gone (SwiftKey for example). Besides, none of my buddies had to download any extra app.

What my clanmates do is either:
- Keep pressed the space bar -> doesn't work, it lets me switch to foreign keyboards
- Keep pressed the "enter" key -> does nothing
- Keep pressed one of they keys either to the left or to the right of the space bar -> neither work, they only let me choose what character they can be set to ( ! ? ' , . - _ )


I tried googleing around but I got nowhere

When I was on android I searched for a keyboard with emojis. It worked fine.

However I'm pretty sure the stock keyboard as emojis. I just had to hold the enter/return key on it. You'll probably have more luck googling around for it tbh.

So I've to make emojis like this :) :(:'( :\..you should download FLESKY keypad

I was using Google Keyboard and that's where holding the return key was emjois:facepalm::smirk:

I downloaded this same keyboard and it doesn't have any emoji (holding enter opens the symbols page but it's just stars n other weird stuff, and keyboard smileis ":-$"). I'm confused :confused:


I'm not downloading FLEXY it's some freaky stuff like SwiftKey

I'm pretty sure that when you hold the return key there is a tab for emojis.

Edit: on screen ads, hard to edit any setting, really? Uninstalled after 30 seconds of utilization.

Hmm that's weird. I was pretty sure I had some. In that case it might be best to try some of the keyboards the others have suggested. Sorry I couldn't help :)

Other keyboards like SwiftKey or TouchPal have emojis but they are absolutely tedious to use. I couldn't even find the settings for TouchPal because the whole app is bloated with ads and animations of every sort. :rolleyes:

You should be able to get used to swiftkey if you keep at it for a bit :)

I had a line of ads basically under the spacebar "Discover what was 2015's favourite emoticon! Click here" hell no.

I found a keyboard called Kika Emoji which is the closest thing to a default keyboard just with emojis I found so far. It has an annoying empty bar over QWERTY that I can't seem to remove though
