Help: TH 10.5 and Elixir farming

I'm doing TH10.5 but everything was done except BK and walls. As an 11 you won't see any 9s, and the ones you do won't be worth it due to the loot penalty.

L5 GW really helps get higher percentage, but you're going to have a loot penalty against TH10 and as more TH11s get their EA up, it's going to be more challenging.

I wouldn't recommend anyone rush to TH11. Right now, since there is so little new TH11 content, anyone who is close to being done TH10 could probably go up and finish of their TH10 stuff though.

I guess you don't see th9s anymore because you are actually close being a maxed th11, if you think about it.
I would just do the warden, so as far as defensive buildings go it wouldn't change much.
Yes, there would be a loot penalty but I don't think it'd be a huge difference (14% vs 12%)

The guy in my clan that farms in gold said he started getting matched with about 80% TH11's once he went up to TH11 himself. Granted this was before the barrack boost. Right now everything is all messed up because people are attacking so fast that more bases than ever are under shield. I have noticed myself being offered bases from a much wider trophy range than I was before but that is probably because so many bases are already protected.

Drop down to silver (below 1000 cups), you'll be fine. My warden is at Lvl 10 and has been upgrading none stop, I do not boost, only gemming I did was on the TH time on day one, warden will be lvl 11 tomorrow and i'm already sitting on full gold and elix with no builders.

Hi, I'm a 10.5 and I had elixir trouble until I got up to M2. Loads of elixir up high. I'm in Champs 1 now and it gets better the higher you go.

The Warden alone adds very little to matchmaking in war. Want to keep your weight down? Do not build the Eagle...

Loot penalty is 50 % mate ( 2 lvl ). If you upgrade to TH11, forget about th9s.

Question wasn't aimed at me, but I'm TH11 so figured I'd answer. I use an AQ Walk. 4 healers cost 40k elixir. With win bonus in Masters and getting 200-300k elixir per raid I net out at 260-360k per raid, and can raid constantly (well, until the PCB comes in).

I also carry a bunch of hogs and occasionally go all in on a base - but that depends on the loot on offer, probability of getting it, probability of needing spells, having to wait for heroes to heal etc. Unfortunately doing the AQ Walk without occasionally going all in occasionally is incredibly boring. It's just my new, as 'intended', way of farming.

I do wonder if my AQ and 4 healers triggers their shield though? I suspect not. Stupid shield mechanics.
