For me i have dropped my league from champions to silver, using barbarians and archers on dead bases.
iam townhall 10 btw
so what tactics are you lot using ?
(personally i hate this update still, no motivation in climbing leagues with a crappy league bonus)

I am a new TH8.5 moving up from silver as it has been running dry lately,going to go to champs for the gems and maybe test out loot in champs/master
I haven't 'adapted' aside from putting my TH inside. Still using the same army comp I was whilst in champs.Quote:

formula:
- not dead base = drop 1 barbarian and quit until you find a dead base. then stay for a while at that rank and see.
I am looking through my revenge list. Made a good amount today. Immediately put it in upgrades.
I am a th9, maxed defences, working on walls (3/4th Legos, 10 the lvl above, rest the black crystal) and heroes
I used to save up enough dark elixir to upgrade both heroes at once, so that I would be able to war with both heroes more often, and just sit out 7 days.
It is impossible to save up enough dark elixir to do both heroes at once... So I just upgrade one at a time. I can't bully th8s anymore because I only get matched up against th 9s that are my level or higher.... I don't even attempt th 10s.
i used to use 12 giants, 8 wall breakers, 8 wiz, 61 archers and 61 barbs. Minimum use of spells... Maybe 1 or 2 heals.
i am trying to find a new strategy because I can't deal enough damage with that army comp anymore. I have started using 16 giants, 20 hogs, 12 wiz, and 3 healers.... And 4 spells every time. i suck at this still but I am learning.... I never was a hog guy
I run 6 gol attacks under a shield, and when guard kicks in, I run barch attacks mainly for titan league bonus. I've been hovering in the neighborhood of 4300 cups. I'm making enough do to 4+ cheeto walls per day.

- Attack using GiBag army. Start new GiBag army training. log off.
- Space out for an hour or more
- Log back in, collect and check if shielded. If not, go back to step 1.

I too have dropped and am sitting in Silver, but don't worry, I'm positive SC are working on ways to stop us adapting in our own way. They do not want us all dropping cups, they wanted everyone to push as high as possible. I was even told they want to stop us dropping trophies from the in-game support.
They wanted people to adapt to the changes, we did, but it was not the way they wanted us to.
Not been to bad, iv changed my army a bit, iv added 4 more giant and 12 wiz
One account uses GiBarch the other uses Loonion, not much has changed. Recently added goblins to GiBarch that account only needs DE.
