No CEO from Pepsi would address himself on a Coke forum saying what Coke is doing wrong! That is totally ♥♥.
OP is NOT a CEO as he claims to be. He is just another player wanting attention from this whole fiasco! Nothing more!

Which, in some cases, I'd totally agree with you.
However, it seems we'd missed that vital hint from Lach, about release estimates sometimes running late.
So, instead of them rushing it for Christmas, it looks like it was delayed, and they released it as soon as they could, which just ended up when it was. However, still bad timing, for a major update that could have many issues, and only a couple days before everyone went on holiday.
ive sent inquires to the following companies with a link to this thread, let's see if we get a hit:

If our games were competition, then I'd get the Coke/Pespi analogy. But we do PC MMO games - no mobile gaming at all.
There are things we have in common, like live patches, development cycles, and communication with users/players. It is those areas that I've commented about.
I can't believe how many people are so excited about whether or not OP is really a CEO. Why not address the perfectly good points made in the post, which have merit whether he's a CEO or not? Weird.
Gotcha, I would say poor timing more than rushed. That said, I'm not sure that things like loot complaints would have ever been changed faster without the time to let folks transition to a new style. I'm with you on not understanding how you have such a massive release anywhere near a time you let your staff just disappear...issues or not.
Well said!
Credible authority or not - Solid points, I'm in agreement.
