SC would never admit that they made wide-sweeping changes to the shield and PBT system to combat bots. What you're saying is: the answer is 1+1 instead of just saying 2. It doesn't take a genius to think critically and understand what they were trying to accomplish with these changes.

Regarding the second point, I am not saying that they were making "enough" or that they shouldn't try to increase profits. What I am saying is what the OP said in general - Strive to move forward but not at the risk of losing what you have. To me that's a fairly simple concept. There were ways for them to make changes or improvements to the game without alienating the entire "casual" population. The obviously didn't think it through. They obviously didn't think that incremental testing was a good idea. They obviously didn't think that player testing was a good idea. You are seeing the results of this everywhere and the picture is not a pretty one.

It may have been a bit of a troll post, but the OP does have some valid points.

You seem to be arguing against hoop rather than for the OP, as none of this changes the blunders by our ceo over here. Also it's hilarious you think that thinking a company doing something for profit is speculative but doing something about bots isn't.

It doesn't matter if he had any valid points, which he did. But every single one of them had been hashed, rehashed, and rehashed again countless times over the last few weeks.

Furthermore, the OP completely shot any, and ALL, credibility he may have been afforded with his nonsense "I'm a CEO" nonsense. He made his own post a joke...

1. You have no idea if he is pretending.
2. Change arises from dissent. - People will not stop posting just because it has been posted previously. If that was the case then everyone should be all over you for complaining about the complainers...which has also been posted thousands of times since the update.
3. Moderators should be held to a higher standard than normal forum trolls which is the reason I posted what I did.

Huh? They'd far rather say it was for bots than to make additional profits. Saying it was to combat bots makes them look like it is for the player benefits. Saying it was for profits brings cries of "greed". I'm not saying some of it doesn't help with bots, but it's certainly not the whole thing and almost definitely not the driving force.

saying it was to fight bots would be the best way to get some heat off themselves.

People are mad as hell about the update, these points will keep getting rehashed until they're fixed or the upset players get a new hobby...

As for the CEO thing... it's the internet, what sort of credibility could anyone have anyway?? even the folk with the little "Supercell" badge under their names need to be taken with some suspicion.
