or use slightly stronger armies in higher leagues, doesn't have to be "war armies" per se.
All depends on your personal play style I think.
For some, milking fits them better. For others it's barching collectors or maybe storage raids in higher leagues.
If you can make more loot milking in Silver and that playing style suits your schedule, why change it?
Pre-update I barched for a while in Gold. Made tons of gold and elixir and if I boosted, I made decent DE. Trouble was I didn't want to boost two hours every night, so I went back up to Champs where I could make more DE in fewer raids spread throughout the day, albeit with a substantial decrease in gold and elixir.
The game has always been about choices - make the one that's right for you.

I don't really get it either. Of all the attacks post update on my base- only two of them made out on the plus DE side. More than a few broke even, but so many came with 2 golem/3 witch, or 3 golem/8 valk, full spells so they could get 1k of DE. Or the 20 giant/20 wiz and spells that steal 130k elixir. I just don't understand. It can't all be players trying to push, or practice a war strat.
ROI, efficiency- these are words that don't seem to mean anything to a good deal of players. Just look at all that loot we got!
I tried milking w/ my TH7 and TH8 accounts. used all archers. works fine. Or I use full armies and pop in every hour or so.
Is milking even profitable? Ornisnit just because of the one gem boost?
To the OP, depends on play style really.
Like others have said gets boring sniping a few collectors here and there and requires a long play time commitment. But it that makes you happy, go for it.
I like building an army and going out and smashing someone, assuming I think I can turn some kind of profit.
I sometimes milk wile trophy dropping and army is building. Boring as hell to me but if you can pick off a few collectors for 1 to 6 archers yes you profit.Quote:
