What is the league to be in for a relatively maxed TH9?

I am nearly maxed out structure wise for TH9. I still got WT, some traps, xbows, and a good amount of lab upgrades. I also only have 60 or so walls left to go to lv 9 but I was planning on bringing them all to lv 10. The question I have is what league seems to be the best for a TH9 at this stage now? I have been in Master 2 for a week and loot has been not so good. The bonus does help but more times than not I end a raid with just the loot from the bonus. I considered pushing higher to try my luck but I hit a wall and fell 100 trophies. I am barely in M2 now.

Should I drop or try to push higher?

I dropped to Silver 1 to work on walls. When I hit Crystal 2 I drop and repeat the process.

A friend of mine raids less often and he has good success in Champions going for DE storages and 50% loot bonus.

I was in Masters when the update hit and stayed there about 10 days. Gold/DE was fine but I couldn't make any progress on elixir due to the high cost of armies and spells needed.

I'm down to 16 lvl 8 wall, 2 lvl 10, the rest 9.

King is 20, AQ is going to 19 will take her to 20 as soon as she finishes.

I have just a few troop upgrades and all the dark spells to do. When my research runs out, I'll likely hit the TH10 upgrade.
