Did Dark Spells Ruin Clan Wars for TH8/TH9?
Hey all,
Serious post here, I have a clan with mostly TH9s and TH8s, and can't help feel after multiple wars this game has been ridiculously "dumbed-down" for easier wars. Double poison spells making clan castle troops a none issue, except for lava hound which isn't exactly spectacular. Earthquake spell means even the most well laid out base can be cracked open for an easy 2*. At TH8, Quake plus lightning now takes out an AD, plus can carry an extra rage with all drags. My clan has been averaging easy 95% destruction last 10 wars, simply because there isn't much variability on attack types anymore. No "hidden surprises" so to speak.
Not even mentioning the +30 seconds, which before made timing everything perfectly a thrill of execution.
Miss the old days where time was an issue, and you had to carefully lure CC troops to a corner and kill accordingly. Forget the update and loot issues, why the heck is this game being over simplified as time goes on? Shouldn't the opposite be happening?
