If GW was a DE hero

Just floating this out there. GW is a lix hero for th11. TH11 has to raid th11 or th10, both of which has infernos. Thus, to level GW, it would be challenging to run a lix heavy army to raid th10/11 and still make a good lix net profit, thus many th11 dropped down to low leagues in hopes of running cheap lix armies on premee th10's to make good net lix income to level GW. IF the GW was a DE hero, I bet many th11 would have stayed in high leagues to farm DE to level GW. Plus, as many th11 has 40/40, DE is dead to them anyways, so a DE GW would have made a lot of sense and would quickly (and I think) significant help to alleviate the over saturation of high th's in low league.

Nope. I'm an 11 and have bumped my GW to 10 raiding strictly in silver.

It could work that way. I only have few upgrades in Lab for dark spells. Can't see point behind making him upgradeable using elixir other than not taking into consideration how would economy be after update

I have no doubt you can find enough lix to level GW in silver. I am farming lix in low leagues for GW as well. My point was if GW was a DE hero, more th11 would have stayed up in high leagues.

Sorry. I miscontrued. I have also bumped minions to 7 and currently witches going to 3 from silver. The dark is coming in small amounts but I have close to 4000 raids this season.

Thanks. It can be done but it takes literally hours, which I have at work on midnights.

No doubt. My GW hasn't stop upgrading either, and I've been surfing from S3 to C3. It's not hard. :)

Kinda mind blown, but you make a very valid point.

I do indeed agree that more would have stayed up for sure. Makes total sense.
