Its obvious , u can't ... i saw some bases where u couldn't get 3 star with level 4 hog too....:thumbsdown:

Ehh yes lvl 3 hogs can destroy some maxed th 8s, I've done it in multiplayer, but lvl 4 hogs are indoubtly unstoppable especially with 2 poison spells now

Level 3 hogs don't have the survivability necessary to withstand giant bombs.

Incorrect, level 3 hogs can survive level 3 giant bombs. Just need to heal accordingly.

Not all bases are hogs friendly, not all bases are gowipe friendly, not all bases are drag zapquake friendly

But no one base is anti everything.

Yes lvl 3 hogs can tear SOME maxed th 8 bases, but lvl 4 hogs can destroy all th 8 base designs

But with the low amounts of heal they have left, they get instantly killed by point defenses on them, but level 4 hogs have enough of a buffer to survive anyway. Can they survive in a vacuum? Sure, but in clash they aren't hitting them in a perfect world.

That is true if a heal isn't already down, but level 3 have enough buffer if already under heal.

So if you heal perfectly level 3 is enough.. making 3s better for cleanup attacks when you know where the bombs are.

Level 4 is obviously going to work more often though.

It's probably true.

Even when we are matched vs clans with strong max th8 anti-hog bases, we may fail a particular base a few times, but eventually get the 3* as the trap locations become known.

If you have amazing hog skills, it is likely that even hog lvl 3 could get any base. I remember one base in particular that was extremely difficult to hog. Half a dozen people had failed on it. Then our strongest hogger came on and 3 starred it with surgical hogs. He had a swag heal leftover and 20-30 hogs still alive. I bet even lvl 3 hogs would have wrecked that base.

I still recommend getting lvl 4 hogs though...
