Premature th11. Serious help from experienced people needed.

Seriously... did you know that when you're TH11, you mostly only see TH11 and TH10 in the queue? And you got heavily penaltilize for TH11 and TH10. The best part? You will have to farm with TH10 troops.

Does it of that part sound easy to you? How OP the new Hero do you think? And didn't you thought about the fact that you have to upgrade it for about 3 months?
Staying at TH10 and feed off TH9 was the best thing. After the update, TH10 was like the new TH9. I wouldn't upgrade if I didn't have to.

To bad for you... I have to say... try to make enough to upgrade your heroes, and wait for new troops to come out. Hopefully.

1. I made the mistake, can't turn back now.
2. I don't think I need the GW to reach max level20. If I can get the ability at level5 maybe it will be enough to attack successfully th10 bases. I hope. I need 1 million elixir to reach level5. It took me about 4 days to reach him level4 and be close to level5 with milking with barbs and goblins.
3. Of course staying th10 was the best. But I made the mistake and now I have to make changes to be able to progress in the game.if I cannot I will stop. Can't keep playing barbs and goblins all my life. It's tiring and boring.

As you progress in this game, the penalties mean you have to change it up.

My experience (pre-update):
I completely maxed TH9 in gold leagues by destroying TH8s. I would hit anyone who had loads of loot. It was fun and not that hard. Grinded out walls before elix upgrades were possible! War was easy too, 3 stars no problem. Happy days.

Then I went to TH10. No loot. Seriously couldn't find the sort of loot I was used to. So I went up to masters and learned to barch. 2 barracks on archers, 2 on barbs and lightning spells for those last few % points.
I barched loot bonus for months. Maxed out all the important defenses pretty quickly.

Then I dropped to crystal as I heard dead bases were plentiful. They were and I spent the rest of my time barching dead bases and sniping bonus.

Caveat 1: barch was a combo of 50% 1 stars, dead bases and snipes.

Post update:
It's all changed again. So no more snipes and a lot less dead bases. So I dropped to silver (wake up in gold, drop to silver, repeat) and I'm milking bases with barch. Little and often. And it's working. I keep quake spells and occasionally take out a complete side of a base and hit it with everything, I've had a few 1mil raids this way.

Caveat 2: I have level 40 heros.

When I go to TH11, I'll be in a better position than you admittedly, but it sounds like you're experiencing what I found when I went to TH10. So learn to barch, without spells and you'll be fine. You'll get to know the bases that are easy 1 stars, you get to a point you hardly need to concerntrate. A new TH is hard work, if you're not prepared to put some time in I can't see you getting out of your rut.

thnaks for the advise. Nice to see that there are still clashers willing to help.
For the past week I have took an advise from another clasher and started attacking only with goblins no barbs. I drop myself to 1100 trophies. Made a slight change in his original idea. I would bring 4 Giants and 6 wbs along, just in case a base was abit difficult, but rarely needed. So slowly, and by spending a lot of time, I now have managed to turn my GW from level1 to level5. This is what I was hoping for.
Hopefully the ability of the GW will make th10 opponents easier for me and thus give me the chance to go up the trophy ladder and reach champions where the bonus is better. We shall see.

Any updates on this? I have th8 barch 20 gw 16 aq 15 bk.

So thinking about it what issues were raised by the new update?

1. Shortage of elixir. Some people there is shortage and some people say they find more.
2. Large migration of players in lower trophy leagues.
3. People still find ways to progress fast. Milking I assume is one of those.
4. Some players attack up to 29% and then leave thus not giving a shield to the defender who is later attacked for a second time and thus lose double resources.
5. Some players prematurely upgraded to th11 and now have a lot of difficulty continuing. The system only match makes them against th10 players. No easy th11 to th9'attaxks.
6. Forced to make really expensive troops= less profit

there are so many issues with the new update that's for sure.
