Premature th11. Serious help from experienced people needed.
So I was th10 half way threw with heroes level25 and decided to get the GW to help me out as it had been not as easy as I would expect for me to increase my resources. For the first time in my clash of clans history i thought why not just jump prematurely to another th level and perhaps the new hero will help me by making less costly armies and achieving the same loot or even better. And so i did. Little did i know that I would get penalty and only be able to attack th10 bases and above.
So that is what happened. I tried and tried and tried making new troop compositions so as to achieve a profit from my attacks but it was pointless. I needed to use many spells in my attacks, queen walk didnt work on th10`s against infernos, we all knew that, and no matter how strong the army i made i couldnt get more than 2 elixir and 2 gold storages from the opponent. i was at 2800 trophies so the bonus was barely enough to bring me even, when i used to make a good attack. if my attack would go wrong, i would lose so much.
At this point i wrote to support asking them for advise. How can I fix this bad situation that I am in.
Can i roll back to being a th10 please? They said no.
Can you please advise me? Anything! They said, the new update is designed in such a way to be fair to everyone. I thought, ok, and how is it fair to me then?For a mistake i wasnt aware of its extent I get to stop playing after 2 years? Is that what fair means?
They even said in there answer you should keep in mind that the th now hold resources equal to 1 gold storage, 1 elixir storages and 1/4 (i think it was 1/4 they said) of dark elixir. I mean ok. I knew that it hold elixir and gold and dark. If i could destroy the th I would have, who wouldnt.
You should try a different army composition. I did. I tried 4 golem, 16 hogs, wizards and wbs and full spells, I tried 4 lavas, baloons and minions, 4 lavas, baloons and always full spells. I even tried to reduce my spell elixir by making more dark elixir spells i.e earthquakes or haste depending on the attack. i even tried bringing 30 goblins but that didnt go so well either.
Basically I was gaining only gold. I wont get into the fact that I was getting attacked and would lose more resources. Since I make attacks, it is fair to get attacked aswell.
So eventually i tried dropping down trophies. If I could use a really cheap troop compositions with no spells maybe that way i could make some profit in elixir and perhaps dark elixir. Who knows? Maybe I wont get attacked then and what even i produce would be a bonus aswell. So i did. I started dropping lower and lower on the trophy ladder and finally reached 950 trophies. I couldnt even believe that number. 950 trophies.
I would make barbarians and archers and a few giants and would attack bases making an overall profit from each attack of 20K or 30K elixir.
I thought this is how low the game will bring me? Unberlievable. Slowly I managed to take my GW to level4. Can you imagine how much time and effort it needs to get 9M elixir by gettting 30K or even less per attack? It was tiring, boring and definately not fun anymore.
Two days ago I decided this cannot go on for ever. I hate the way I was made to play the game anymore. If I continue like this searching for bread crumbs I would definitely stop playing the game and that is that. So I started doing a push for higher trophy leagues. The aim was to reach champions once again. Atleast there I would get a good bonus. I would still have to face th10 bases, but I am forced to face th10 bases regardless of the trophy league I was in. So the push started. I managed to reach 1500 trophies when my elixir resources were emptied. In this rate, with the loss of my elixir I will never manage to reach champions again, not in the next year or so!
So now I need to wait for the collectors to produce something. And so I found time to write this post. And I apologize for making it so long.
If someone has made the same mistake as me, jumping to th11 prematurely and has managed to recover from this dreadful mistake, please advise. i would really like your opinion. If it is too much to ask, please dont trool and if its not too much trouble please dont write irrelevant things.
