Lock out certain Troops from donations.

I'm sure I'm not the only person who makes a Request, and labels it along the lines of "No Giants" or "Defense Troops please". Only to have some idiot suddenly join the Clan, donate all their Giants/Hogs, and then leave before they can get kicked.

So my idea, is to have an option to Lock out certain troops from being Donated to you.

So, I make a Request, I select it so Giants and Hogs are Locked out. Someone then tries to donate Giants and Hogs to me, but it tells them that these Troops cannot be Donated to this player. Their plan to ruin/lack of ability to read my request is foiled, they leave the clan frustrated that they can no longer be an arsehole, they eventually learn that they have to become a functional and supportive member of the Clash of Clans community.

No more wasted Requests.

Everyone wins.

Yeah it would be cool. I really hate wrong donations.

How can your team possibly donate the wrong troops after the recent update?
Besides the fact that you can describe what you require in your CC the new update added an overview of the troops already donated. So i'm sorry but if people still can't think and donate as they wish instead of using their brain and think about what is requested + already has been donated you should kick them from your clan.

I don't think it's SC's problem that your clan issn't using the multiple tools provided, clan management is key ;)

Well be thankful for what you get or get nothing, i do agree that this should be in the game as well because i normally get donated troops i never want, but in the clan i am in everyone despite the costs will donate what ever you ask them for to you

If you don't want idiots to join your clan and donate troops you didn't ask for you should do something about your recruitment. Let me guess, your clan is open for everyone? no admissions? that's part of your responsibility as the leader of the clan. Options to exclude troops from being donated is a solution for a problem you can avoid in the first place.

Good job on assuming I am the Leader of my Clan.

Well done on having an Elitist attitude, that only serves to try and get in the way of a progressive idea that seeks to aid the enjoyment of the game.

Not every player is part of a high end Clan, that has strict rules on recruitment, expects their players to be consumed by the game, and doesn't tolerate a learning curve.

You fail to see that not every player is in control of their gaming experience (nor has the time to create and lead their own Clan), simply because you may have the advantage of a high level Clan.


This idea is for the casual players, something that didn't need to be pointed out, but you seem to be on a Crusade to spit on those you consider lesser than yourself.
Not helpful in the slightest.
It is more than likely that at some point, you were one of those idiots, who would join a Clan, donate your worthless Giants, then leave before anything could be done.


If you aren't interested in the idea, then you have no cause to get involved. You have a negative attitude, that only seeks to try and put others down.

So you're saying all you want is people to give positive feedback and support your cause, anyone that doesn't agree issn't free to comment on your thread and share their thought on this matter. I'm sorry man, but that issn't how the world works. You should've made this thread a poll with 3 options: 1: Yes, please / 2: I support this / 3: I'm not saying no. That way you could have made sure eveyone can only agree with you, as you're expecting everyone to do.

Whether you choose to read my response or not, what i do with my time and what time is wasted is none of your concern. Nevertheless i do understand your desire to filter troopdonations, but i'm completely free to say that i don't share that desire and think this problem can be solved with clanmanagement.

And if you have trouble dealing with negative comments you should post a request for a friendly-filter only showing you the positive, supportive, happy comments. But as long as this is a democracy i'm free to share my opinion just as much as you. No one is lesser, everyone is equal, you're the only hothead here telling others they can't comment to your suggestion.

Yes i understand . I wont trash you for your opinion. The things you pointed.
First problem is that i am not the leader.

Second, our clan is invite only. But there is no way we can know if that guy is here to stay or leave.

You said i should kick those who donate wrong. This is exactly why i requested 'find out who donated'

Sorry everywhere i said' i 'will be he. I requested a similar idea.
