The Catapult
Catapults are powerful vehicles created by Goblins who preffered destruction over loot. They have huge range and their shots add an overtime burn damage.

The Catapult has the biggest range of all troops (excluding hreoes) along with the healer. His attacks also have splash damage for a short range, but the burn's splash is bigger (the burn splash only works with attacks, not the fire itself causees splash). If the catapult attacks again when the target already has a burn refreshes the burn duration. However, multiple catapults' burn damage does stack. They receive double damage from bulldozes (see my original thread). However, they are 2 tiles wide and thus need a two tile gap to pass through and they can't use jump spells. The only scenario where they can surpass walls is when they are clan castle troops. Their burn damage is tripled against walls.
Army comps
The first thing you should think abou are wallbreakers in every comp where you decide to use a lot of catapults. However, you can also use golems as a meatshield and use catapults to snipe out buildings behind walls thanks to their range. Earthquake spells are perfect to help catapults out and swiftness spells are also nice, since they already have good damage. Catapults can also be used for clean ups thanks to their range. Witches are also good allies.
