How to buff the Eagle Artillery
So I had this totally random thought on how I think that Supercell should buff the Eagle Artillery. First off think back to Th9 and when a player gets the Xbow, this defense can be set to ground or air and changing it, while it does not necessarily change the attack pattern or damage it does effect the range dramatically. Now jump ahead to Th10 when players get the inferno towers, you can set the inferno tower to either multi target or single target, single target does devastating damage when fully warmed up on a target and multi target can have a huge effect on tier 1 troops, or the ability to heal your army. It gives the player a added dimension and a choice in how they use this new defense, it basically gives it more value being able to interact with it to a certain extent.
The Idea: Make the eagle artillery so that you can set it to three round burst just like it is now and of course buff the damage so that it really makes a difference, also make it so that it locks on and all three shells hit a target say for 450 damage a pop? (Or whatever seems to really work) Second is put another option on the defense to set it to spread out and break apart above the ground before impact causing it to have the most massive splash damage area with small fragments in the game. This would dramatically effect how people go into war attacks and plan ahead of time for attacks. It would also make this defense a priority for players to take out or else they would face the massive splash damage or giant three round burst damage.
As it sits right now the eagle artillery is all bark and no bite, no one even pays it any attention the only thing that it has going for it is that if it is not taken out it can make percentage cleanup a pain. But anyways this is just a idea I had randomly today and thought I would post it.
