Clash is not a game but a waiting game.

Clash has slowed down to the point of being a little dull. I used to be addicted to this game (actually, I still am) but I can't play as much anymore because it doesn't make sense.
It actually makes sense to play less. I used to dedicate an hour or two most days to Clash (2/3 times a week on boost) but now I'm just bored, waiting for an army.
This is gonna get old... fast.

What did you do while waiting for an army before? And why aren't you still using that army?

Barching is over at my level - gibarch too. Used to barch while my golems and hounds and spells were cooking...

Now - if I boost my spells, I get to raid every 90 minutes or so, if I don't, every 2.5 hours.

Chat is dead. We - just 5 minutes ago - lost another long time player.

Every raid is gowipe, or equivalent, with 3 to 5 spells.

I no longer war because I can't make enough elixir to war and push and make a bejillion spells.

It takes so long to make a army for mm, I feel like everyday is war day...
on war days I don't play as much, cause I make full troops, everyone needs donations, I log in, donate, log out, eventually, I get the troops I need, then go do my war attack, log off
now MM is like that, so I put the game down, a couple hours go by, and I'm either busy, or just forget to play now, I think I'm logging in some days once a day, some days none at all, my clan stopped warring...we have no loot

A waiting game is still a game :3

plain waiting for SC to fix it....login/ collect from mines and drills, dump it in walls/ nothing new/ log off... that is as much fun SC made this game

I am getting sick and tired of people who are trying to condescend members, which I feel is the majority here that dislike the update. Yes it does get boring when you have to build a war army every-time to get loot. Not only that it makes us less active in the game. For example I would Prepare my war army than do something for that hour or two. than I may have actually forgotten about the game. My wife is finding that I am spending more time doing things around the house now. She actually teases me and constantly thanks SC for this update. I feel I am not the minority here. Does anyone else feel they are logging in less to clash since the update?

you guys should PM Polaris. He's making a killing barching as a TH10 in crystal1/2 range. Barely used any spells either.

there is no reason at all that all your raids have to be a gowipe. I think one of the biggest reasons many people hate the update is because they believe the forum nonsense and really think that one had to change everything they were doing from before the update. Ignorant forum goers post that "supercells wants us all to be using gowipe," and for some reason people believe them.....

Yes, I would imagine the game would get boring if you had to wait for a war army to build every time.... So don't build a war army.
And it's in no way condescending to say so.

My strat and technique allowed me to raid for 1.5 hours without stopping once....And I did this without the use of gems.

Yes, 1.5 hours of nexting and attacking...only returning to my base every 10 or so searches to inject queued-barrack troops into my camp.


Unfortunately, that army and raiding style required a system that supported farming; this one does not (as stated by SC in multiple in-game support responses).
