Clash, Hayday, and Boom Beach breakdown

I happened to play all three of the SC games and will provide you with a breakdown of each in the order I played them.

Hayday. A wonderful fun game that is enjoyable by all age groups, who do not like the war or fighting theme. It has many followers and is a relaxing game. But after a while I personally lost interest in the game as the game just got boring for me.

Boom Beach. Exciting strategy game that is not intended for the casual player. You need to spend lots of hours or gems to advance in the game. You can't rely on your gold, wood, or stone mines as they do not produce enough for an upgrade. As soon as you reach lvl 30 the game starts becoming a grind and at that point if you are a casual player, you will not advance anymore.

Clash of Clans. The last game I downloaded and was my favourite before the December update. I found it the most exciting, fun, and relaxing game of all three. I even stopped playing the other SC games that is how addicting and fun it was. Now I find it very frustrating to play the game as you just can't keep up with the attacks we are facing. So I feel it slowly heading into the boom beach direction where frustration and advancement are just not occurring.

eh? the game can be played each day for less than 30 mins and get most upgrades done!

What? Boom beach is very casual friendly game! I beraly play it and hit hq 17! Collectors and recourse bases give you ENOUGH resources to progress without attacking much!

I disagree on the Boom Beach part. Level 36, HQ 13, progressing just fine, thank you. I only defend my resource bases with a vengance but otherwise mostly ignore PvP. Diving and farming Dr. T for loot.

Definetely agree, Clash of clans was the best product SC produced compared to those other SC games. I played BB for 3-4 months and game got boring after a while but clash kept me addicted until now for 3 years. This one is getting boring and mostly frustrating as well.
Anyway loser is gonna be SC there will be always cool games but SC had one chance and will tear apart because they couldnt make wise choices.

Boom beach is VERY friendly for casuals. You can log on, do an op, raid a base or two, and still put your builder to work constantly.

Lvl 48 and still going. I can fit it in whilst training an army for clash :smirk:

Boom Beach is a limited time playing game. Which means, check on it, raid a few times and done for the day. A lot of sitting and sitting.... and lord help you if you get stuck in the Victory Points flaw. Then you'll be sitting and sitting for a long long long times...weeks. It's WAY more Gemming if you plan on really playing it. As you only get 1 Builder. There's no Nexting, just sitting and looking at a map. You can refresh PVP forts once every 24 hours....

I used to play coc but not anymore few days after the new update i deleted the game... The game wants us to gems, hands down...

I stopped playing BB every now and then because it is a boring game most of the time... ( you need to spend gems to max out or if you dont want to , you have to spend lots of time on the game ) I am witing for the next AMAZING update if it turns out very very AMAZING i will definitely delete the game..

Hayday lol lol. Now if you do the derby 75% of the 320 points tasks are boat task ( makes me think they want us to spend diamonds too )

conclusion: SC is a company i know they have to make money, but in COC the team hungry for money... For me i will never ever progress unless i spend money. I am not a bad gamer

Ding ding ding winner answer, lol. So many people are too. So SC really doesn't care at this point. They've made a billion and are just happy to have made so much putting very little into this App game. The market is very huge with games. So they got lucky at the right time.

I play boom beach 20 minutes a day and advance fine. I have not purchased one diamond (gem in coc) in that game. I nev tried hay day. And I still love clash.

Boom Beach, lvl 48... with HW level 17. I make loot from resources, DR. T and Task forces. I can upgrade but very slowly with one builder. But really that is all I need because it takes a few days before I have enough resources to upgrade the next defense, building, and.or troops. The key to playing this game is to keep your Victory Points low. Thus I play Dr. T, Hammond, War Factory, occasional raid, and task force.

Clash of Clans, was easy to slowly build enough resources to upgrade. The issue is to raid enough to make a profit over loses from attacks. So far I am succeeding in doing so. But currently I am working only part time during the holiday season. The real test is when I hit the office full time when January 2016 begins. I am trying the big raids with one account TH9 in Masters 2 and a TH10 in Gold 1. The Gold 1 is not doing as well since the troops costs are high with little bonus on raids. Gold is probably the worse place to be. Wonder if I should drop to Silver and really see what the loot is like down there. My masters 2, TH9 is doing better. But it is because all I have left is walls and heros to upgrade. Built a solid DE protector bases but everything else suffers from the raids.

I will know in the next month if I can still progress in Clash of Clans. I may have to just be content where I am and help with the war effort. If I get close and can push at the end for an upgrade, that is what I will have to do. At TH10, everything is very expensive. As you get close to maxing out your storage, so does your loot loss for elixir and DE. It may take two to three attacks to break even. Which is when your shield expires. Basically you have to boost (gem) and be on for 2 to 3 hours straight if you want to upgrade an 8 mil troop. The last time I had to gem for 3 hours to upgrade my PEKKA to level 5. That costed 145 gems. Currently I am also gaining from the 1 gem daily boost. Timing is key now. Do not want to have too much resources because it will all be stolen as you wait for lab to finish the 14 day upgrade of your troop. It has turned into a grind because waiting 2 hours between attacks is a beating. I can't just play for an hour and quit for the day. I have to raid every couple of hours to make progress. Also due to the elixir shortage I do not supply my teams with high cost troops unless we have a war going. War is difficult too because you cannot raid while providing troops to your team. It is almost a penalty to be in war. The loot gain from war does not equal the down time for each war and corresponding donations.

When I work, I will be away from the game for at least 8 to 10 hours with a 4 hour window in the evening to possibly get in two raids. By then I probably would have been attacked twice. Not sure if I can gain anything until the weekend. Maybe I will quit when all my gems dry up. Hopefully by then SC will have figured out a way to improve resources again.

Since the God awful change in COC few weeks ago. I started BB two weeks ago as something else to do. I've been hit with the VP ( Victory Points ) curse, lol. I had no clue about this until now I'm stuck seeing forts that are way way above me. About the lamest thing I've ever seen in gaming. Aside from COC last update, lol. Is there anything Supercell does right other then enticing players to buy Gems?

Level 27 165 VP just playing the game normally and seeing level 44, 42, 37, 35, etc on my map only now.

I left my HQ out today for 5 hours to try and drop VP..... not one single attack. No one plays this.
