It's just not fun anymore

Everytime I log in now, I've lost 2-4K dark elixir and 200-400k gold and elixir. I can't save enough to upgrade anything. I spend 3 hours raiding before my personal break time and then the cycle just repeats all over again.

i thought I'd be close to starting my TH 10 upgrade by New Year's, but now it seems like I will be stuck at TH 9 forever.

Is your base rushed? Even with both heroes down no one has hit me for more than 70% in Crystal and Masters. Perhaps a change in base will help?

i know i hope supercell injects more loot into the economy

For the longest time, I've only been focusing on saving for only one thing at a time. If it's DE, I spend down all my gold and elixir by sinking it into lego walls. If I'm saving for a lava wall, I save only gold or elixir and spend down my DE. If you're holding lots of every resource, it's just too tempting. There are barbarians beyond your walls.

I'm in the same situation .I'm an early town hall 10 (not rushed ) and i can't save anything.

No, my base isn't rushed. The only things I have left to update at TH 9 are level 10 walls and heroes. As a leader, it's hard to upgrade heroes because I have to skip wars to do so.

I feel where you are. It's just about impossible for a TH9 base to keep from getting 40-60% hit with the DE tank getting ripped. Spam giants with heals, wiz and high heroes and its a given.

I'm not sure how you can move to TH10, and go through that upgrade progression at a reasonable pace that doesn't involve a good deal of gems.

Agree it's not fun to lose that many resources. I try to get a couple of quality attacks in a day and war constantly. Just can't protect my resources for any major upgrade. I spent gems on reducing the time, not to make up resources. Not liking it right now.

Yep, I'm a th9.5 and I've given up the multiplayer part of the game. Multiplayer is frustrating and not fun anymore. I'm only in the game now to war and donate troops. I dump all my resources into walls, war army and troop donations. Haven't raided in well over a week.

Sounds like your base is in a similar position to mine. Maybe try a different base as I've never lost that amount of resources in one hit before and only about 2 or 3 attacks in 10 get to my de storage.
