Read this if you want to stop the superqueen

For all those complaining about the SQ strategy not being nerfed enough and there precious DE being stolen, heres the solution:

Build a better base that combats this attack. Its THAT SIMPLE!!!!!

I am not going to share base builds or tell you the secret tips of base design that makes me and other super queen users next a th9 holding 2500+De or attack it. I can tell you that my base will stop over 95% superqueen attacks every time..the level of AQ doesnt matter. I have had many attempt and even a few w over level 30. I have max th8 defenses with the exception of max teslas, and air defenses and air sweepers. I also only have level one xbows. I will say my base build makes it super difficult to direct a AQ towards my de storage. If you have used this strategy, you know that a aq can only take out up to 60% of a base by herself. This means you should give her over 60% of other options. I would love to share specific information or share my base or other bases to use or stay clear of when using the strategy but then I would eventually find less of you to use it on. I guess I should be happy your complaining bc it means I have a chance of finding your base. Who knows...maybe its me that caused you to complain in the first place.

Anyone that understands funneling can take your DE with superqueen. Stating otherwise is just rubbish!!!

There is no 100% for sure stopper, and there shouldn't be. Every base should be susceptible to the right attack.

That being said, there are ways to minimize loss. He's absolutely right. You have to build a design that leads her elsewhere.

Yes there is. I've been stopped dead cold a few times.

honestly there is no th9 base design that will stop a skilled quealer raider. but there are many other attacks that is true of. reality post-update is you are going to get bent over hard until you are a mature th10, and even then you'll have guys coming through with wardens and getting you for 70%. as a th9 there is no escape, your DE is gonna get taken brutally and without remorse, whether it's quealer or something else.

I never understand why people make these clickbait threads which are devoid of useful content. When someone clicks on your thread, nothing happens. You don't get ad revenue. You don't get points of any kind.

I thought this too, but I've adjusted my base and now I can protect my DE storage. I've done a ton of SQ attacks, and I've seen 2 consistent ways to defend SQ raids:

1. She will not take the jump for a double set of walls when there is a space between sets. If you make the wall squares so that the DE storage is out of her range, you can't use a jump spell to get in. SQ attackers rarely bring quakes, because of the DE hit, and the cycle time. If you have this in the middle, it's tough to get wall breakers to hit this deep into the base.

2. Put a pekka in your defending CC. The queen can't recover fast enough to kill it. I've never once beaten a CC pekka with a SQ raid with any combination of rage, poison, and healer. If I see a pekka come out of the CC I usually just quit the raid on the spot.

Thats is correct..it has to be the RIGHT attack. But I find with my base, if your using a true SQ attack with over 6 healers, the attacker doesnt have enough other troops to clear (help direct) the AQ towards my core. Even then the Aq that do make it don't reach it bc they dont have the range to touch my storage and the aq will go around the core rather then break a wall. I will say my base is very open to let her wonder around. Sure I loose more gold and elixer using this style of base but its worth it when most attackers leave wo my de. I have had my DE taken by a few attacks, none the SQ. Every one of those attacks the attacker spent a considerable amount of de just to make his army. I dont find that to be efficient but thats a different subject.

Superqueen isn't an issue for real chiefs.

The idea of SQ is by the time infernos target her, she is already hammering your DE. Anything less than that is a failed attempt.

The useful content is USING A BETTER BASE DESIGN!!

Sorry if you want me to make a manual with multiple base designs and reasons for why they work and dont. Guess what..SC Forum is full of those. Thats how I learned. I am telling people that rather then complain..go out and use the resources at your fingertips..OMG Now I did it! I gave to much information. Sorry if you wanted me to do all the work for you and just wanted the reward.

Hehe. Over 790 SuperQueens run. I know this how? Because its the only attack I used for a couple months and just have to look at my profile attack numbers for the last two seasons. Not boasting...not bragging...I have it down.

As mentioned above..a max pekka coming out of the CC will wreck your Queen if the support troops are mostly cooled when it pops. There are also ways to get mortars/teslas firing on her as she goes resource (yes, TH is a resource too) hunting...as is her AI.

ETA- AQ is a 25.

Yes, there is. You just need the proper base design. If you are getting hammered with this attack over and over, it's because you have a good base for it to work on. I would search TH10s up in champs for awhile, until I found a base it would work on. Several bases I would have no chance of hitting, and it had nothing to do with defense levels. Its simply all about the base design. Trust me, I maxed my heroes doing nothing but AQ walks and I know there are bases it will not work on and some it will destroy.

I knew I would find others that know!!

I'd like to see some def logs, cause I don't see any th8 defenses stopping a halfway decently executed SQ.

Pekka can be a killer but I always bring 4 hogs to pull b4 dropping queen. Funnel properly and use the proper spells and I think I have only missed DE once.
My normal set up going in. I don't typically use spells unless there is trouble.
28 AQ
6 healers
4 Hogs
30 minions
20 archers
8 WBs
3 rage
2 jump (usually only use 1 jump)

Use your ability on pekka, she can take him out fast enough. It DOES force you to use your ability in a spot you wouldnt normally want to and can mess up your raid further down the line.

Take more wallbreakers and drop the jump imo, it is pretty much useless. I just keep rages queued up. If I really need to get into the next compartment I rage my AQ, healers and WBs. Just have to make sure you drop them before she kills what is inside the next wall.

True. the two times I was wrecked, I disrespected the CC. Was coming from a different side and had to pop ability earlier. Didn't have that luxury.

I float between masters 3-1. I use superqueen regularly here. I find it a great place to superqueen personally. I often get 2500+ not including a decent but not full de loot bonus.

on the first point, this sort of thing was true pre-update, some tricky funneling design tricks could lead her away from the DE tank. but post-update with the extra 30 seconds, attacker can be a lot more patient and still get it.

on the second point, yeah, pekka is always a big problem. can usually get through it if you pop her ability at the right time. definitely pekka is the most effective castle d vs superqueen, but it's very ineffective against a lot of other things and it's expensive for your clanmates, so you don't see it very often and probably never will.

Not really. The 30 extra seconds won't make her beat through a layer of walls with nothing on the other side. She'll just move on to the next closest building outside the stack. The only way to get the main storage would be to wallbreaker a layer of the double set or to use EQ. I've had her wrap around these kinds of layouts numerous times with jumps shoved right up her nose. Plain and simple, she won't take it.

I never take or recommend a pekka in the cc, but if you're getting SQ'ed to death, it's an option you have to consider until you can fix your base layout. Your clanmates will get tired of you quickly if you're constantly asking for pekkas...they're merely a short term fix.

I just moments ago 3 star quealered a max defense th9. with a lvl25 queen. no bk, no castle used, just her, 9 healers and 40 or so minions, though I did have to use 3 rage and a jump. that never happened pre-update.

so yeah, I've got to stand by my assertion that a little wall spacing trick isn't going to save your DE tank. maybe she has to take the long way but she'll still get there.

I love all the high and mighty guys acting like their base in indestructible. Guess, what, you setup to stop AQ walk, your vulnerable for a diff attack, you setup for that attack, your vulnerable for a diff attack. Get over yourself, every base can be 3 starred if the right person catches you with the right troopload.

1 - Queens hate jump, and that's why I quit using it. 4 EQ is the way to go. You can open a ground path to the core/DE on 90% of bases, (most bases have at least one spot with 8 squares or less from outside to core) and get the queen into shooting range of the DE and TH on the other 10%. Yes, it's spendy on DE, but it absolutely gets the job done, and I don't hit anything under 2500 DE in Masters 1-Champs III. Sometimes I get tricked by DE in the drills and not the storage, miss one and don't get my 2500, but that's rare.

2. Defending CC Pekka get killed by my leading BK and wiz/CC troops + poison before they even get to the queen. My fave CC to bring is a L4+ Pekka and a max giant. I drop the EQ, drop the CC, drop 6 healers for my CC, and then create a funnel with 6 wiz. Then I drop the BK if I have him, followed by the queen, both of whom follow the CC into the core and DE. I wait until the queen starts taking damage to drop the other 6 healers for the queen. 14 minions to steer the queen or take extra buildings to hit 70%. Rage on the healers if things get hairy, heal for the healers if they start getting hit by an outlying archer, and use her ability just before the raid ends to top her back up to 100%. Here are 6 recent raids.

This is great if you don't care about cycle time between attacks. I'm not saying that quad quake is ineffective, just that not many people doing SQ carry it because of the hour cook time and the cost of building (500+ DE). It's not at all surprising to see your attack log have lots of successes, but full time farming using that strategy isn't viable because we only have so many raids we can do per day. For me personally if I was only starting a raid when I had 4 quakes ready I'd only get in about 3-4 attacks per day. I want to do that many per hour.

Exactly this!

I loaded up my defenses to stop AQ walk and spam laloon. But a stoned GoHo or even a simple spam gowipe will get the 2 star and my DE every single time. Granted they will burn every spell in their arsenal to do it and it it's worth 1500 DE to raid 2500 than be my guest!

Are you able to get 4 attacks in per hour without boosting with gems? If so, I see your point.

My approach suits me well, as I only have a few minutes every now and again to attack - I rarely get to play for a solid hour.

4quake is actually slightly less cook time than jump because you can have rage and quake going simultaneously. I don't use it because jumps and wb work fine for me and are cheaper. I have been burned more times than I care to admit with a completely ignored jump spell, and it is infuriating. but I have found post-update that the key to success is to be patient, let her go where she will, use the jump when she is trapped and about to start hitting wall. placement is key too, you don't want to open as many compartments as possible, you mostly just want to open the compartments you want her jumping into.

I just got mass witched and he got a 97% 2 star, so we should nerf that also...

if they want the dark elixer bad enough they will get, whether it be superqueen, giwi, drags, pekkas. if you nerf the super queen they will come with something else.

I think superqueen is very overpowered. :thumbsdown:theyneed to get rid of it.
