PLEASE help.

I used to be nearly maxed th9 when I went to th10. Only rushed my heroes at level25. I managed to built level2 infernos, level4 xbows and the rest of the defenses are th9 ones. I have Giants level7, freeze level3 and wizards level6. The rest are maxed th9 troops.
I used to attack th9 players and get decent loot out of my attacks. When the new hero came out for the first time I thought of rushing to get the GW as he would help my even more on gaining resources by th9 bases. So I did. Once I got to th11, big mistake, the system would not show me anymore th9 bases. And even if I would see one every 30, it had not loot. (The penalty I quess).
I have tried to drop down from 3000 trophies to 1200 trophies. Still only th10 opponents. I was losing elixir and dark elixir cause I needed to spend a lot on spells, freeze to compensate for the opponents infernos. I would only manage to get 2 out of 5 storages most of the time. The elixir was going down slowly so I changed my army composition to use more dark elixir. Still the same results. I even changed to earthquakes, no luck on my elixir.
I don't know what to do now. I am hoping that somehow I can make the GW turn to level5 and thus with its ability things might be better. But still I cannot increase my elixir resources. So I looked at a few numbers and I realized that it's better not to attack at this moment when there is a 1 gem boost. I make more by waiting rather by attacking.
i would appreciate it if anyone in the same bad state as I am can offer me an advise. Others that have made the same mistake as I have and found a solution around this, please advise a fellow clasher.

I'll recommend buying gems...best way to deal with this problem.

I'm a near max th10 and I do very successful mass gobbing near 800-1050 trophies. 3 barracks goblins, 1 barrack archers. Plus 20 minions.

Every base I find down here is a "new dead base" ie infernoes and x bows dead but collectors only half full. What I do is use anywhere from 5-50 troops in these and haul 80k each per raid. It takes a lot of dedication but you can haul easily over 600k elix and gold since everything is profit. Hopefully this helps and or works for th11. I'd say 800 is best range. Takes a few minutes to drop and after you log off you'll be up 600 trophies lol.

Thanks for the advise. Really appreciate it. Until now I was just trying to find th's which were outside and snipe for 1/5 of the elixir loot. I have currently dropped to 1200 trophies. I will try you idea. Hope it works for me. Again thanks for the time you spend and the advise.
