So a guy attacked me, got 160k gold and 1700de, no e. 56%, I got a shield.
Groovy.
I revenged him a few hours ago.
270k gold. 222k elixir. 2700de. And I used a crappier army than he did AND didn't have my BK up. I felt happy. Ended at 39% with my AQ dying last.
No stars, and I didn't see a SHIELD announcement. What gives?
I'm not feeling guilty, just wondering why I didn't give him a shield? I don't care that I lost. I just thought 30% was the new benchmark for stars/shield?
still depends how many troops you used.... you can three star a guy and give him no shield if you just use a handful of troops. :saywhat:

I used 220 troops/220 troops, 1 hero, 4 spells out of 5. I'm TH9. All I kept was my Poison spell. I even used random CC troops.Quote:

Oh, I figured it out. Someone literally just failed an attack on me and ended at 39%. I got a shield, but he lost the attack. So I gave him a shield. Ok mystery solved, ty!
Okay, check that. Now I'm REALLY confused. I WON that defense, he dropped his entire army full of troops, both heroes, and 5 spells, and cc troops, and I STILL didn't lose at 30%. What the heck gives?!
You still need either 50% or the TH for a star.

I stop-go'd at 27% on all the way to see if it popped up at 1x speed. Nothing. I'm so confused.
