Doesn't SC want us to expand city anymore?
I've noticed the lack of them, yes. What *is* going on with that?
I dont know. But the town visitor always give me bonus TEMs. I dont like this. I always sell them after I receive. I like other items like bems or sems. It's the reason I didnt concentrate on my town yet.
I used to get tems from the townies all the time, but now it's only occasionally. Now I mostly get saws and axes.
The difference in TEM drops has drastically changed. I also mostly get saws & axes now, most of my buildings are in pretty high levels so I stopped trying to upgrade anymore, scrounging for the materials isn't fun, I have enough of that when upgrading my barn and trying to find planks.
It's made TEMs a lot more precious for me. I used to be disappointed when I got a TEM. Not anymore lol. :smirk:
Because they feel "rarer" now, it's made me more interested in expanding the town buildings. I used to care a lot less about that. Does it really matter if I can serve Alejandro the Cowboy his red smoothie 5% faster in the spa? Once upon a time, the answer would've been "No." But now it's "Yes, it matters. It matters a lot." Too bad it won't happen until summer 2016 though (maybe).
Anyway, for those of you who trade, have TEMs become more valuable in their exchange rate with other EMs?
I'm struggling with getting enough drills for b&b upgrade. I think i get 1 every other day, which is ridiculous because I serve a lot of townies every day! Still 3 drills to go. *sigh*
How many do you serve a day? I serve about 20 to 30 visitors a day probably. Closer to 20 most days. And I get a drill maybe once a week.Quote:

I have noticed that I tend to get TEMs more often from visitors who have been served in 3 shops instead of just One or two shops. Hope that will help some :)
Yes! Hammers, stones and tar especially are in high demand, I can trade them for 3:1 or 4:1 ratio for BEM and I know some people request to trade TEMs for SEMs as well.Quote:

sigh...I'd like to think that SC wouldn't want to create fertile ground for taking TEMs out of the game proper (the Daily Dirt) and into the trading threads. They are so scarce they are now prime trading property. So many threads and so many posts about this issue on all the sub-forums and nothing is being done about it. Snakiddy, bless his heart, has persevered. I stopped asking several weeks ago once it felt like all the requests were falling on deaf ears.Quote:

How is that even possible? 113 TEMs? How many trains did u call? Even if u called 50 trains, the tweaked drop rate for TEMs makes it mathematically unattainable. I did 4 trains yesterday and got 2 TEMs...total.Quote:

I concentrated on my baby farm yesterday, only opening my main farm to transfer items to baby farm and to serve townies so it was a slow day. Having said that, I did fully serve around 30 townies and did not receive a single TEM :unsure:

Besta, might it be we have grown accustomed to snatching all EM we see? I do the same.
I haven't needed maps in a long while and yet my trigger happy finger snaps them up whenever I see them. Good thing my neighbours can use them. Unfortunately I often hold on to them for a while because of time difference and my barn suffers for it. My barn is also full of LEMs that I need to pass on.Quote:
