Compromise??

What is SC gave us back the old shield system, but left your TH worth the current resources?

So you could leave your TH outside and give up a small amount of resources, but in return you get a 12 hour shield and easily gain back the lost loot plus normal gain from collectors.

It would give farmers and option on how to play and keep the incentive for pushers.

If we were on Reddit, I would upvote this.

I'd still leave my TH outside so if the intent was to get the TH inside then it wouldn't work.

I may have misunderstood the Jonas interview however I don't think that they were happy having people sniping for the league bonus either.

However they could still provide a shield for removing TH if they put very elaborate conditions on it in the game....

I feel like I am repeating myself. They will buff the win bonus, they will tweak some other stuff(maybe a D bonus, maybe the 70% will come down to 60%) but you will not get back TH SNIPES. It just won't happen. Why is this so hard to understand? Nobody waited around for DE zapping to come back because it was well know it was dead and gone. Let's say this is the Walking Dead and you just watched Glenn fall off that dumpster...well on the show he came back...Not in COCs version. Glenn is dead and now being shat out as zombie waste.
For the record....I hate the 70% thing.....This is a raid, not a math exam.
Why not give a D bonus?...even know I am getting run over in Champs 1, I still get a D in 1 out of 3 attacks.
Since Gold in the easiest to come by, let me exchange some gold into Dark or elixir. That would be cool.

here's the thing. TH sniping, for all these years, masked a certain COC trait; that is terrible loot balance. With TH sniping, so many instant money, it was balanced. Now that it's gone, loot becomes terrible again.

So if they were unhappy with sniping, which part is it that makes them unhappy? The shield? The loot? Or both? Because frankly, those 2 things contributes to player progress. And if that's the case, then SC simply does not like people to progress (without gems), because i really doubt that terrible loot balance is unintentional. It's their code after all.
