Thanks for the answer, interesting cos I see a th 9 maybe 1 in 9 searches and they generally have 150 k of one or the other. my most common match is max th10, which makes sense as I'm max def th10.

Perhaps they grade the matching within th as well as between th levels so earlier th 10 match similar more often.

loonion wouldnt cut it for me , just as Gibarch doesn't. My real option is to go the lava or golem option, but I really can't be bothered with the cook times - perhaps that's where OP is coming from too, so again not a liar just because your experience is different.

Good luck on your progression, try and not be so dismissive of others though as not everyone has the time to adapt to war armies in higher leagues that are needed now - for there level within the new matchmaking matrix. Don't get me wrong, I can raid once every 2 hours, and I do, but in between the game is switched off and I've started a new game for the first time in over a year - clash has always held my attention.

its not just progression, it's time and enjoyment - they have gone from the game for me but I'll persevere until they hopefully sort it.

I'm sorry if I seemed dismissive of others, or came across as accusing others of lying, BUT, my point is that you can enjoy the game without buying gems! I suppose it all depends on your definition of fun and progression.

You're absolutely right. If you have the time.
You are probably upgrading all your newly acquired goodies that come with a new town hall. Wait until your upgrades are 7.5mil, you're only able to raid every 1.5-2hrs (because you don't spend on boosts), then all the loot you gained after a few raids gets taken during your personal break.
When you are at this stage I'd be interested to hear your opinion then, right now your experience is different to the OP's.
The casual player has been hugely affected, no denying it I'm afraid.

This. This is the real problem. There is loot, the sniping was nonsense, but the result of a proper league system is that training time has killed the game. When people on the forum say "I have to play 24/7 to get loot", I get envious. I started playing Pillars of eternity on the PC and Boom Beach on the tablet and I can't even be ♥♥♥♥♥ to attack anymore in CoC, apart from wars.

Are you for real? Do the maths and time to build that army. This is exactly the problem. I don't have time to wait for 28 loons ffs, never mind the spells & heroes. Fact is a player is required to spend more gems than pre update.

SC doesn't care for me and you, get that in your head once and for all.

I had reported top players with proof that they were selling their accounts and they never replied back, when I posted a thread here representing undeniable proof of what was happening my thread got pruned and deleted in a mater of minutes.

So that's all you need to know about SC or any other corporate company, as long as it makes them money even if it is breaking rules they have set, they will keep the top player and treat him like a god.

A legend league player which gets 340.000 gold and elixir plus 2600 dark elixir each attack obviously won't feel the need to farm, won't feel the need to gather resources, won't even care about loot because the average top player spends $200 in a week to stay there.

Game is getting always more harder for new players and the community which enjoys staying in lower leagues and play the game without spending hundreds of dollars every week.


This update is made to benefit purely the top player and that will always be the case with this game.

Sad but true, if you and your empty pockets don't like it, go play somewhere else.
