Forum noob... clash Veteran

I'm not sure if this is really the place to talk about the pain that this update has caused, but I figured I'd just stick it here and then be done with it. I think it's a well-documented fact that this game is ruined for the casual clasher. Over the course of the last two and a half years I've probably bought $500 to $600 worth of gems. I bought these because I wanted to have them for boosts, gemming troops from time to time, or a lot of times for donating troops.

Now supercell has made it impossible to play this game without having to buy gems. If I had the time to play this game 24 7 I'm sure I would love most of the aspects of the update. But unfortunately for supercell I have a life as I would venture to say a vast majority of the community does. I hope they find a way to balance the hardcore clash community with the casual clash community, otherwise they will lose a large group of their players.

I've seen a lot of complaints about this update but nothing from supercell on what they think about the unrest in the community. Personally I would like supercell to at least acknowledge it, at least let us know that they're working on trying to correct it. Until I see that my collectors will be full so feel free to raid away.

Thank you for sharing. Many here agrees this update is definitely painful. This is the lastest posting from a mod that I have seen.

I have been playing Clash since Jan 2013, and I have a full time profession, and I'm married with two small children in school, and I have all the other life responsibilities that plague a 44 year old, and therefore I would consider that I have a "life" and am a so called casual player. Since the update I have become a fresh TH10, after maxing TH9 (except a few hero levels). You say SC have made it "impossible to play without gems"???? I have 5 builders, 4 of which are busy, and the fifth is free to sink resources into walls. I have found that even though I do get smashed for loot, I am also seeing a pattern of gaining double the loot profit of what I lose when raiding under the protection of a shield. This is all while playing "casually". Stop whining and play the game. I'm not a so called SC fanboy, but I am certainly tired of reading these whining posts about how it is impossible to progress without buying gems and that the update is causing so much pain.

Anyway,I agree,that so far the update is being a nuisance to our gaming quality in clash.

everyone has their own opinion about the update, why the aggresion? Imo the loot is getting slightly better because of the 1 gem boost... Need more effort to find considerable loot after the update, but it's still there...

Lol...I am the same level as you..just spent 2 hours raiding...tried barch....giant...wizard and gowiwi raids with barracks boosted and broke even on elixir....2 weeks ago I would not have needed the stupid "GUARD" because in the same 2 hours I would have raked in like 4 million elixir....it was easy at first to keep my builders busy..but now that all my new th10 ♥♥♥♥ Is caught up to my th9 defenses....it can't even keep 2 of my 5 builders busy at the same time....this update is ♥♥♥♥.....why kill farming
It was 75 percent of the game...stupid cell dropped the ball....maybe game of war will intercept ;)
