Why am i a TH8 always getting raided by TH9 and higher!!!???

You will hope I raid your base OP, because I am a bad attacker even with lvl6 giants that I could only do 50-60% destruction.
Pre-update, you cold hope to get a free/cheap shield for 12 hours, but now well sadly expect to get stomped unless you're lucky.
TH8 might just next you because they think your base is hard, but TH9 will just have a fun time atatcking your base.

I do feel a bit of empathy for th8s these days. I have two 10s an 8 and a 7, and things have gotten crazy for my th8. Th9s will throw big massive armies against it even when offering less than 100k of each and relatively low trophy offers. At least when my towns were th9 and hunting 8 you at least had to be loaded for me to crush you....now just not sure if it's desperation or sadism. If a th8 was all I had I would definitely be disenchanted.

They Don't!

Next. Next. Next. That became my mantra. My lot in life was now clicking next. Black cannons made me cringe. Xbows would see me run away in fear. Every TH snipe was taken with trepidation in case it was trapped with max teslas.

WHY!? Why had SC done this to me? Just as I was set to enact my revenge on all those poor helpless TH8s, my ability to find them had been nerfed. It wasn't fair. Not Fair At All, I tell you. Oh... it was enough to bring a 12 year old girl to tears. Good thing I wasn't one otherwise I would have been crying like a baby. I just know I would have.

You know what I did?

I hardened the eff up and dealt with it. Took each TH10 and maxed TH9 in my stride and clicked Next past them as fast as I could. Because I had to.

Then one day... the heavens opened up and there, in front of me, in all its pink juicy ball glory... a TH8, loaded to the brim. I could hear angels chioring. And I attacked. And SMASHED it.

But not always. Some I took pity and gave them a shield. But most I Smashed. And I smashed and smashed and I smashed. Each and every one I came across who could give me loot.

And not just the TH8s. Any base that was abandoned. The occasional 7 - OMG! I would drop my trusty GBarch and go hard, then go home pockets jingling.

So, young TH8 padawan... rejoice in the knowledge that this too shall pass and then one day... YOU will be a TH9 and can obliterate poor TH8s. And the cycle of TH8s hating TH9s will continue.

But Be Warned... when you are an early 9... oh boy... you are so pathetic, worthless and weak. Can't smash 8s, can't do anything to a 9. That is a hard time. But you will get through it.

And so endeth today's lesson. Now go forth and SMASH some TH7s, like you usually do.

The problem that many have claimed post-update is the rate of progression (without buying gems). If it takes you much longer to get to the point of being the smasher instead of being the smashee, would you stay and have the patience?
