Farming Tips for New TH10 post update?

I'm having a terrible time raiding elixir. Just hit th10, had enough saved to get both infernos and upgrade my spell factory, but can't seem to get enough (while playing casually) to upgrade my lab or my army camps. I'm currently in Gold 1 and trying a cheapo army of 16 giants, 40 arch, 40 barbs, 40 gobs and 8 wbs, with 4 earthquakes and 2 heal/2 freeze, while trying not to use more than one of each spell per raid. Heroes are 20/17 with one down as often as possible for upgrade.

Is there a better way to farm? Should I be getting up to Masters/Champs for better loot?

im not TH10 but ill give some tips

iam maxed walls,heroes,troops and im doing well with gibarch as TH11 in silver/gold league (Warden going to L15 , im gemming the time)

first week after TH11's update been real shiet for loot but im finding lots of dead base now , i mean A LOT , hitting about 10 dead base with 4 boosted barrack's per hour with no spell (trying to keep exilir as much i can to upgrade warden)

getting about 2-3millions exilir per hour , no idea about DE but about 10-15k per hour

so good lucky....

I went down to silver 2 just to try, but didn't seem to get much in the way of anything. My base is holding up well against raids, but I'm not getting enough to make it worth attacking anyone. Are the higher loot bonuses worth the effort?

well if u can 50% with barch in higher league then yes it is worth the effort , otherwise noope

try crystal them , peoples finding good loot there but im good in silver/gold league

silver/gold always been my farming place , never went to master to farm bonus league

my 2nd account just started to get the max walls done , about 45/275 pieces now

Farming collectors with AQ gobs and barch is a boring but elixir positive strategy at silver/gold, especially while the boost is on. I try to get 1000-1500 gold/elix per troop lost, which is about a 5-fold return on elix spent per troop. Raid nonstop, no boost needed, use AQ to hit a couple collectors to drop instead of hitting next.

Attack log is full of 750k combined resources raids.

I have been using GIHOMINBARCH in silver for easy loot. Make a hybrid base (TH close to edge) so you can get a shield before you get 500 cups from single troop drop. I typically use 15-18 giants, 6-8 hogs, fill with min, arch and barb. Extra time allows more meat shield heavy armies IMO.

I'm a th11 in champs and probably going to drop to silver lol. Not because the loot in much better, but because I can attack more. I dont need to make sure I get a star, like I do now, for the bonus. I like the idea of hitting storages cheaply and just get what I can with a cheap,army. I can play the GAME more at least, instead of waiting hours for my gowiwi army and full spells to finish. Good idea or not?
