New method of gaining all loot

First off I know many of you are casual clashers but if you can log on 2-3 times a day and attack you will gain loot with this method without a doubt. I use a simple balloonian strat... 25-30 loons and around 40 minions with 4 rage spells. If possible ask for a drag in ur cc with loons to fill up the rest along with a haste or poison spell. I am currently in crystal where there are alot of meaty town hall 8's with pink. Look for a base with air defenses along the outside and decent loot. Put a rage and about 7 loons at each ad with minions behind it and you will cream the base. send the cc and ur heroes in as clean up and you should stack up loot pretty fast!

From above you can see there is still loot but you have to look for it. The reason why the break of attacking is because we had a war. If you boost ur barracks it is twice as fast to train and you can attack even more! Have fun and I hope you like!

REMEMBER THE ABOVE ATTACKS HAVE FROM A 35k-55k LOOT BONUS!!!

If you're only after gold, that's a decent result, though average at best. But you barely cover the cost of elixir that you spend on troops.

Hardly making a killing.

30 loons at 4.5k each is 135k. I can't remember what level 4 rage costs, but level 5 is 33k so add another 132k. Ignoring loot bonus you need to find a base with 267k elixir and get all of it before you make any profit at all. Even with level 4 rage you need to smash a base with lots of elixir. I can make far more profit with gibarch as a TH9 than I could with this strategy.

Sad to say that 14 months ago I was using loonion with 1 spell... Now people seem to use 4 :(

Loonion farming isn't exactly new. I used it when I was an early TH 9 over a year ago.

You're no making much progress... Barely making even.

And that's very little gold.

I only use those armies for revenge when I can't get 400K of each at least.

If not, only use GiBarch, and even with that the progress is very slow now.

I don't complain about the loot, I have gotten plenty, but now I'm being attacked as well, so it's a lot slower.

I have gained a load of de from this along with gold aswell... Somehow i have gained elixer with the loot bonus in play... My goal is to get to champs and start using it.

let me explain why your strat is no good.

First you say, to someone who can attack 2-3 times a day.

Then you have them build an army that costs 267k Elix
Then your images show you average about 200-250k Elix

Meaning your strat looses elix every attack.

Now lets look at your gold gained, about 200k ish each attack. If the attacker attacks 2-3 times per day, and gains 400-600k in gold, and only gets attacked twice for the same amount, the net profit is only 0-200k. Add in costs of nexting and rearming costs.....yeah this wont gain much if any.

Finally DE, your army would average what, 200-400 DE to make?

And you averaged 600ish DE per attack? Thats a net gain of 200-400?

Then subtract your 2 defenses (for me thats 2500, but well just say 600.

So your total gain of 3 attacks, is 600-1200, and net loss of about 1200, so basically a loss of 0-600.


Your strat works because it looks like you attack every hour, where as your asking someone who attacks every 8-12 hrs to have the same result.

This strat worked well for me when I had 6m Elix to waste thru, not so much when I didnt, cause you steady lose Elix the entire time.

I've been using gibarch today and have a profit of nearly 3m elixir and I bet I have made this amount of profit in fewer attacks than you will.

hmmm also dont forget about loot bonus which is 55k in crystal 2 so add that on... I am planning on going to masters to use it. Also if you get a shield you should easily not lose this unless ur base is terrible.

Like I said, in your OP you stated this will work for anyone who can attack 2-3 times per day, your not attacking 2-3x a day, your probably attacking 10-20x per day.

Its not that this strat cant work, but it wont for someone only attacking 3x a day. You wont gain as much as you lose.

Youre gonna get destroyed in masters! Every thing you win you'll lose to raids. You cannot attack only twice or three times a day in Masters being a low TH9! Don't do it!

Ah, title says "new method". Loonion farming was always murder on elixir and better suited to high crystal and higher where the bonus will cover your cost.

You might also want to try replacing rages with hastes to keep your elixir costs down as well as reduce your spell training time (you can cook rage and haste in parallel).

I'm at Crsytal 3, and making gray raids lot of loot, but still I'm making a lot slower progress than before, because I'm getting raided. That's why the game is no longer fun if you can only attack twice or three times a day.

I haven't been able to upgrade a single heroe since the Update.

I am actually attacking 5-6 times a day this weekend... during the week I attack about 3-4 times. This will still work because if I can gain a mill elixer and 2 mill gold a day with this many attacks than in champs I will do alot better

problem is I thought I would never have to revert to gibarch considering I always went after deads with barch... so I am stuck here with lvl 5 giants like alot of other town hall 9's and need an alternative...

Lol have fun up here in masters I've got a great base over 1000 defends lifetime problem is everyone up here goes with full gowiped. And if you can have a full maxxed ten attack you with 30-40 hero's and you defend I'd love to see it. I rarely give up more than 65% but trust me they want your loot and they will get it. And you can say whatever you want but a ten or high nine that knows how to attack will get what they want no matter how good your base is. Trust me my clan is constantly posting replays vs some of the best bases out there just getting wrecked.

well A. mine have all been straight out attacks so I have not gotten that kind of loot... and B. I dont have lvl 6 giants which is why I needed a good alternative.

I used that strat in crystal 1 to masters 3 when this update first came out. Was only way to make loot. If you only use one or 2 spells you can very slowly grow elixir, but is very slow. The bonus does not cover your balloons let alone the rest of the cost. Is a very specific base you can use on unless your lucky and loons go where you want.

I have since dropped to silver and gold and make a lot more loot by using gibarch and Gihealbarch. Less cost and I general take about half the th 9 bases and rarely miss a th 8 full loot. Much more economical. I would rather be up in masters but with the high cost of troops in both time and elixir it isn't cost effective. I have all my elixir troops and upgrades done but I need walls and not want to waste good loot on killing off troops.

No thanks...they take too long to cook and are too expensive.

My base is a great design and I have gotten 2 shields with very minimal loot taken...

This strategy doesn't work after the update. I tried and lost elixir daily. Very sad they nerfed looning. It was the one thing that kept me playing.

Thats the problem... I never thought I would use giants so they are level 5 still I figured I needed an alternative to gibarch among others so i am trying this out.

Really? Why don't you post some screens of defense's? You're low level 9. I get attack and raided about 200K at least a day of each and 3000DE. And my heroes are level 27. And have maxed defenses and are in a lower league.

daily reminder that this is the kind of player that likes the update. they were never making that much loot before so they don't notice a difference.

No I never said I like the update... (where did you get that from) I used to be a snipe/dead base kind of guy before the update and would go for big gains up in crystal 1... the update ruined it for me so I am trying to gain the most loot possible without using my weak lvl 5 giants

first off find your own way of gaining 4 mill a day... the update pretty much took that away unless you are an expert giant attacker (which I am not) I am trying to gain as much as possible after update so I can still improve my base... sorry if I sounded harsh I am in the middle of a war

so how you're claiming to be making 2 million Gold? Is not even 1 million, it's according to your screens, 550K gold a day attacking 3 times.

OK but your post is telling people they can do 2-3 attacks a day like that and gain. Which that statement is almost as much of a farce as SC telling us how the resources will be so plentiful that the loot will almost be dropped on our doorsteps daily. This thread should be titled how to clash 14-16 hours a day and net a small profit. All while losing minimal elixer.

The basic math just isn't there to support this "new method".

I'm making very slow progress now, 10 times slower, and you have seen my attacks, here are my defenses, but even like this, I'm upgrading a wall(3mill) in a week, and haven't been able to upgrade a Heroe since(140,000 DE avg.)

from what you have showed its impossible to be making 2 million gold a day, heck even before the update I only got about 1.5 mill a day of gold. Attacking only 2 or 3 times. Now it's 400 to 500K if you're lucky.

I understand that... but if I can attack enough to counter the loot loss it will not hurt me... if they use these armies and 2-3 star me than I will gain large shields for revenges and regulars to gain loot back.

So basically your attack strategy doesn't make you the loot you claimed to make and you also rely on winning a war, which if you warred back to back you would only get every other day and varies enormously between a win and a loss.

I'd put down that shovel and stop digging if I were you.

From above you can see there is still loot but you have to look for it. The reason why the break of attacking is because we had a war. If you boost ur barracks it is twice as fast to train and you can attack even more! Have fun and I hope you like!

Honestly your talking about attacking 8-12 times a day min. If you can't profit that way you have serious issues but post states 2-3 times a day.

ok during a 16 hour shield you can get in 2-3 attacks. that leaves 8 other hours of sleep and maybe time to get in a fourth attack.

My army costs less, not by much but still, I attack 6+ times a day, treading water with lix in m1.

There is no gibarching up here bud, its a rebirth of gowipe on a planetary scale. Prepare to lose lots of loot, im happy if they miss my de storage

from what you have showed its impossible to be making 2 million gold a day, heck even before the update I only got about 1.5 mill a day of gold. Attacking only 2 or 3 times. Now it's 400 to 500K if you're lucky.

I am only trying to show an alternative to giant raiding because not everyone has lvl 6 giants which can merk a town hall 8-9...

i understand, but just to give you a heads up since you plan on farming in masters.

as a side note, in higher leagues, loonions are for 50%ing, you won't be able to get to too many storages with pure loonions on any base with a half decent layout. (maybe a good loonioner can prove me wrong).

in champs, about 70%-80% of the bases showing up in your search queue are maxed TH10/11 or nearly maxed ones.

Ik... I cant stay low and gibarch cause my giants are 5... so I figured go up and do alot of attacks a day and see if I can get those lvl 6 giants

EDIT: put lvl 5 giants not 6...

My gf has been doing loonion from C1-M3 and she can get good loot BUT loonion takes a ton of time, plus she uses 3-4 spells, without boosting loonion is a extremely slow.... obviously she doesn't have enough supreme elite mad skills and she should just quit, because she doesn't know how to farm, right elites?

Absolutely but the math from your 3 highest attacks puts them + gold even on dark and +32k on elixer that's with league bonus. So then you add collectors subtract raids they actually break even ish. Can't upgrade anything for even. So mathematically they must attack 4-6 times to turn profit

Rich th9s are few and far between also, its usually high de, or high lix, rarely both. Now th10s I see tons of, 800/4k, can usually hit them for the de and half lix.

Maybe youll have better luck with a non maxxed base with matchups, idk, but I do wish you luck. I am thinking of dropping, but waiting till after the first to see what changes sc makes to loot bonuses (significantly raise elixer bonus 100%)

4-6 attacks a day is medium-very active. The problem ls the semi-lightly active users who attack 1-2 times a day and empty collectors. Anyone who raids a TON is gonna advance with much cheaper armys trust me I do it with half the army cost of yours. And I spend 56 dark in my raids that's a max hog to pull cc. But you add in war attacks building to fill ccs. Your two war armys this makes the average player have to play a min of 4 hours+ a day to get anywhere. Let's be real its a part time job not a game. And for the record I'm on way more than that. But SC can't expect casual players to do this.

This right here is exactly what I've been saying. The people saying you can still make progress after the update are simply bad at math... I used to could farm 8 million each in a few hours under boost before update. You people walking away from a raid with 80k worth of ellixir and not seeing a problem blows my mind. Say you want to upgrade to magma walls you have 275 walls at th10. That's 825,000,000. Let's just say between gold and ellixir your able to put 400k to walls every day. At that rate it will take you 2,062.5 days to get that one level of walls done.. fk it say 800k thats still 3 years. don't for get lava walls are 4 mill a pop when you finish with that. Ivery played for a couple of years and raided over a billion loot each under the old system. The new system is broken and the ones that don't see it are just bad at math or maybe never plan on going pass max th 8 or th 9.

true but the people that do 1-2 attacks a day are either going to have to step it up or are completely screwed because I dont think supercell is going to let us go back...

Now lets do the MATH:

Ballons lvl 6 Cost: 4 500 elixir

Now 4 500 (elixir) x 28 (ballons) = 135 000 Elixir

Minions lvl 3 Cost: 8 Dark Elixir

Now 8 (Dark Elixir x 40 (Minions) = 320 Dark Elixir

Rage Spell lvl 4 Cost: 30 000 Elixir

Now 30 000 (Elixir) x 3 (Rage Spell) = 90 000 Elixir


135 000 + 90 000 = 225 000 Elixir

350 (DE Minions) + 95 (DE Haste Spell = 445 Dark Elixir

no not bad at math... just saying that I am not losing resources but gaining them at a slower pace... If you add all the loot I have gained today it is around 2 mill gold 1 mill elixer and 8k dark... if i focused on one of these I could get pretty good amounts I predict.

had 20 people do this math so far... when did I say farming??? I am just stating an alternative of giants that is not making me lose loot. Also I will start using haste spells instead of rage spells... then I will save elixer in the raids and only use 4 haste a raid...

Deploy two groups of 6 giants far apart feom one another in between ads range, put two healers on each geoup, wiz around them to clear trash, cc giants down the middle, heros, couple wiz. You can figure the rest.

And again you have no concept of masters my attack log is filled with 3* of 9 of 10 raids vs maxxed nines. The one that's not a 3* is 87%. In every raid I gained 250k or more of each resource plus league bonus. Simply using AQ walk giants few wiz barbs and archers. So yes they do take it all at once. You just ain't playing with the big boys yet. Crystal and masters waaaay different. Also if you go for 1 resource at a time its going to take you 3x as long lol

My defense logs are also filled with 60-80% defenses and losses of 200k plus I protect my dark so I'm forced to give up other resources. But most the guys left in masters know how to attack. All the fluffy bunnies dropped cause they couldn't hang. Pre update I was about defenses 1000+ but now I have to protect my dark at all costs so I forefeit the win and other resources. My logs pre update were full of defends but I was willing to give up dark and other resources cause it was easy to gain. Now it's alot harder. And before you start telling me how to raid I have 3 mil dark lifetime and 700 mil of each I know what I'm doing.
