What in your opinion is the best use for diamonds?

I am a player who doesn't plan on buying any diamonds so I plan to use my diamonds to expand my production instead of speeding things up. I am currently level 30 and have around 80 gems. I was wondering what's the best use for my diamonds?

I am thinking the pie oven or cake oven since I can have 3 slots and go make 3 items while I sleep, whereas other machines that take 30min - 1 hour per item, I can simply keep an eye on. Or should I go with production machines that I use a lot? Such as the sugar mill and the bakery?

What's your opinion?

Good idea to use diamonds to open more production slots but I would also save some of the diamonds to spend on hiring Tom when he offers his rates at a discount. Then use his services to buy the most time consuming items, like jam, to resell. Whatever you do, don't use them to open mystery tool chests, on a wheel of fortune bonus spin, or to speed up any crop.

Hey there. I'm level 64. You are so smart to poll for others advice. I wish I has done that. I would recommend the cake oven slot expansion then the pie. If you had the popcorn maker that would actually be my 1st choice. It doesn't take high coin items however no one ever seems to have any on hand (except spicy for some reason) for boat orders. PS Supernova is absolutely correct Using diamonds for bonus items is like going to the fair and trying to win the $3 �� bunny and spending $26 bucks to do it. A big part of the fun of the game is the hunt for things you need.

I would open extra slots on the sugar mill and dairy. These are the basics for most of the other machines. A lot of the produce from them doesn't take long to make and you dont want to leave them sitting idle, you want to make the most of the time you are not playing to get products from them, especially the dairy.

I would go for dairy and sugar. Most cake use sugar, ice cream both white sugar and cream. It's a good idea to let the machine on when you sleep given you have enough sugar/dairy for it.

I only use mine for more production slots and for Tom.

here the same, i've used them for opening slots. Now that i unlocked every slot of each machine, i use them for Tom.
Like pinkyJoe sais, the sugar and diary producers are the most importznd ones to unlock first. In my opinion, the foodmaker also. Then go for the machines that are the fastest.

Sugar mill iuntil you can fill 12 hours with syrup (8 slots)

Of course it depends on your play-style.
I opened extra slots on sugar mill then dairy first before all the others. I let the machines run with syrup/cheese overnight while I sleep.
