Hey all and happy holidays,
My minis clan is currently level 7 and got paired with a level 9. Now the issue is not with clan levels, however the enemy has 7 th11s where we have 2.
My first thought was the clan has rushed bases, only to find out the 11s are maxed.
I recall hearing of wars being balanced post th11 update?
Can someone clarify if this issue is noted and/or addressed?
Clan is kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ we all need to drop +5 to hit an equal th.
Yes, there is a problem with war matchmaking. My clan has been in some rough and unequal wars post update. It has been unfun.

Supercell doesn't care about clan wars. Was a late addition to the game when people complained that "Clash of Clans" wasn't a very apt description of the game. War matchmaking has been broken for a long time. Lots of easy fixes but SC doesn't care because wars don't really generate coin for them. It's all about the dolla dolla bills, yo...
Wars were good prior to the update. Our war clan been matching up with too many town hall 11s yet we only have 2.Quote:

Seems like th11s war weight is not being added properly or something. Our wars have brought in th11s with waaayyyy more weight then our th10s. No way we should have been paired with them, and got the matches in like 5 mins of searching. Seems most people who are complaining, are seeing lots more th11s against them.
I disagree. They twist match making A LOT. They don't announce it, but you can see changes happen if you pay attention. War match making was never perfect. But it's a slowly improve progress. Sometime, their twists do not provide good result. This update might be one of them. But eventually, they will find a way to make it better. So... you're wrong when you say they do not care about clan war at all.Quote:

My clan ended it's 18 war win streak with a clan that had max TH10 troops and 4 max inferno bases as opposed to our 1. Looking down the board technically our weights were pretty close but it was annoying when we lost because they had 3 more bases to potentially 3 star...
And multiplayer is lame now too. No sarcasm it's ♥♥ that you only see th's of equal level. I'm max 9 I've earned a preponderance of th8's to roll over, not 9's and 10's 90% of the time. Makes farming boring and a nexting event
Our clan just went through one of the most unbalanced matchups I've ever seen - I've logged over 135 wars on a spreadsheet between the two clan's I've been in since wars were introduced, more on that here. This one caught my eye from the very start because of the uneven th levels.Quote:

We were VERY lucky to have won this war by one star, but like you said, we should have been crushed. Anytime you're outnumbered by 5 on the top 3 th levels the matchup is unbalanced - neither side had bases that were more rushed than what I typically see.
