Not logging in to COC for 2-3 days a new way to progress?

I've read on the forum about some members doing the same thing so I decided to give it a try.

After 3 days Both gold and elix collectors were full to the max and I was never attacked which means I was kicked out of match making.

I was able to collect 1.2 million gold and 1.2 million of elix. I forgot my DE collection.

I think this is better than training mid-farming armies, calculating win-loss ratio and whatnot and most of all, it's stress free.

Progress is slow but I don't mind as long as there is actual progress in terms of gaining loot.

Thoughts?

This certainly isn't a way to save anything. Try getting near 8M in storage and then logging off for 3 days ... I lose 350K every 12 hours and the collectors only bring in 250K every 12 hours.

up to a certain level you may be ok, but when you log in to collect at some point you will be over the threshold of what your collectors can make and people can take from you.

If u can design an appropriate base to protect loot efficiently go for it!

Lol ..... Ya it drives me insane knowing I'm getting hit hard every 12-16 hours without any xbows or cc troops .... If a guy could shut off the collectors though ... Could walk away smiling 😃

It works for me.Managed to upgrade an archer tower lvl10 for 2.5 million gold.I didnt raid a lot on multi and wars(check profile for multiplayer attacks)

OP means your base will be taken away from the pool, cause you have been inactive and therefor can't be attacked
so instead of going through the hassle of making armies and attacking, not knowing if you will make profit, jus play hayday stile and come 2-3 times a week, collect your ressources and build something as soon as you have enough

I just didnt collect for straight 3days(wasnt raided for 2d+)
And my gold increased frm 1.3 to 2.5 million(200k x 6 full mines).

I was experimenting on my second account a TH9, which I created to donate to myself. My main account(TH10) is doing fine and play alot on that.

I tried it before post update and took several weeks before it was kicked out. Now it seems SC had shorten the time span before getting the boot.

So if I quit again ... This time I'll be taken out of searches within a day? That actually sounds kinda cool 😃
