Will I ever be able to play in a relaxed way again?

Seems nothing is coming back. So try to find another game to play along with clash so if any point you are done with clash you can move along & even if you still play clash you will still not play as before so you will have time for another one :)

I looked at my log yesterday and it showed 10 attacks over 2days 19hours...not exactly hardcore

As hard as it was to get 3 or 4 5/10 minute attacks done each day...I managed

Yes I have a life, yes I work full time, yes I find this very relaxing

No one said the attacks need to be done every 90mins/2hours? That's just the most efficient way of doing it where possible...just like pre update there were efficient ways of farming that not everyone could do (hardcore 2 hour boosting sessions etc)

It's not like pre update the game was perfect for those who had little free time...Many people progressed just nicely in higher leagues with their TH on the inside. This system makes it even easier

remember, if you could barely attack pre-update, you barely progressed too...that hasn't changed

The only positive I see is the need for much less nexting, but that is only because I am capable of attacking infernos (and please note the 90 minutes training time again).

Anyway, my main point is - where is my fun, relaxing game that I could log into for a few minutes? Why has it been replaced with this new game where every attack needs to be a war attack? Where is the additional loot I should get for losing so many resources every day. Last I checked, the upgrade costs haven't been reduced.

Let me get this straight.....farming in champ.???

Ok understand there is a bunch who state they farm in champ. Understand getting loot with big troops isn't farming.

I haven't been attacked in 12 days. I play relaxed all day everyday. Even with this horrible update.

Understand what farming really is.....and do it while dumping loot into walls, defenses or whatever before you logoff.

Champs is not a farming league....I see a bunch who state it is....but they bring huge troops, gain loot and call it farming.

Just attack once per day right before your shield expired, and collect all those collectors. I guess it's casual enough to be consider as "relaxed way"? it does progress, slowly.........

One, people really need to stop saying they removed dead bases because no, they didnt.
Two, why would dead bases or collector raids be in champs, that makes no sense. It'd be way too easy to get loot off those bases were in champs.

According to SC, If both of you are TH 10 and not farming in champ, then you are NOT "playing this game the way it is meant to be played"

The only way to farm.

Log off for two days. Come back. Full collectors.

Rinse and repeat.

Yeah you can,Atleast for now.
Simply boost all your collector and dont log in until 24hour..You will find out the collector will be full without getting raided more than once.

I wouldnt call it playing tho.

Needs to be every 9 hours, pretty sure max DE drills have a capacity of 1800
