War CC donation is a bit too much to handle...

Its eventually breaking the back of smaller clans... first a 10/20 warring clan... eg. a clan of 10 war, that 30 donations & now with introduction of a spell donation means 20 spells... all this every alternate day... its a bit too much to handle for the higher level members of a clan... lower guy just have to come take & do their attacks, it may be fun for them but say 2 guys handling the donation will only be doing this all day long, time resources it takes for doing war is breaking the back of the camels...

Personally I have lost interest in wars cause I no longer wanna keep doing this all day long...

& with all these new shield changed & bad loot, its just not fun anymore...

result being my clan is indirectly breaking up & I have no inclination to hold it together anymore...

Yeah, that's why I've continuously suggested a huge buff to troop donation refunds which, in addition to helping with clans in this position, also provides an additional avenue of elixir injections back into the economy. That, along with a suitable increase in league bonuses, should really elevate the new update to where it should have been in the first place.

I can understand what your saying Vikky, some of your issues maybe your juggling to many accounts.
When I war at Nakama we are all max or near max bases , so war donations aren't an issue, in NewWorld there is only a few who donate for the entire war cc, I'm only to happy to do the lot as are a few others so we do all the main troops and let the lower levels do what they can. Clan perks make there troops max anyway. I guess it's a matter of not being expected to fill the cc and the clan not taking the top players for granted.

Well resources aside my clan had 30 members & usually war with 10/15 member, with 3/4 th10 2 th8 rest th9... a golem or lava takes 45 mins to make thats 2025 mins of time every 2nd day gone in just making troops for war cc !!!

now the spells, its a endless drain & no longer fun to keep doing... plus in war all need only max troops so lower guys cant donate (& uptill now we usually used to only donate from the max th10 guys, so as not to burden new th10s etc) plus not all members are active throughtout the day, so only 2/3 guys have to handle the show else all will be waiting & attacks will get left out

this is just for war, ofcourse normal multiplayer raids also are taking donations constantly...

there have started been fights between members now & clan is almost done since it was me & 2 more guys holding the clan together & now I am just letting it fall apart... Its pointless unless making troops time is drastically reduced lets forget the cost for a moment..

level 7 101 war wins game over for wars for me...

yes you are absolutely right... but gues have spoiled the lower chaps now I am taken for granted... I tried implementing a rule alloting each th10 3 players to handle for offense & defense CC planning, but turned out some guys were left waiting 12 hours... & eventually fights by me & them...

My Th9 I only open now to donate... no longer wanna handle multiple accounts... even handling 2 accounts has become a task... we are down to 24 by now & sinking.. & I dont care anymore.. I find it peaceful playing hayday now a days :(XD:unsure:

Being one of the few in my clan to donate troops in war ccs, I fully agree with what u said. The only reason I can get by for now is bcos I'm a maxed TH9 in champs 3, so the loot bonus + raid (+ boosted collectors) sustains the costs for now. Not sure how long I can keep this going TBH.

I stopped doing wars a month ago... it was taking too much of my time...

I had two top accounts in war and I was the only active member with max troops... Farming for TH10s was difficult compared to TH9 even before the update and constantly donating 30+ max dragons plus troops for war attacks and 4 top lvl attacks was too much for me to handle... Its a cycle... U need to farm for resources if u want to donate and if ur constantly donating then u dont have a full farming army... the time it takes to plan 4 high lvl attacks and to farm and donate all day long was just not worth it for me and I stopped war and took a break... I came back to check the update and its a total mess... I couldnt do it preupdate so I can just wonder how bad its now... Having already been in ur position and taken the hard decision to stop wars I can safely say that u will not regret it... :)

Now my clan is doing smaller wars 15 vs 15 and v are finding a lot of easy wins with smaller wars...

War matchmaking is horrible and v are constantly being matched up with lvl 4 clans...

Take out the Max TH10s from war... it makes a huge difference... Not only do u have a Max TH10 donating max troops for war attacks but the war match up are also easier and u dont need max troops in the CC...

u can also leave the TH7s empty or ask the lower guys to donate any random troop as well...

Were still fighting who gets the chance to donate in our clan! All th9 and 10 donate as the perk kicks everything to Max. Golem\hound a wierd choice for cc though? Maybe pick something faster?

Combine lower war loot for TH9 & TH10 and an extra DE spell war is very expensive now.

I know some war regardless of cost, but many do care very much about the war costs. If they war less, that's longer searches for others and reduced temptation to gem heroes.

War loot needs to go up a bit, also this extra donation refund we have now should be a permanent fixture.

well out of the present 24 we have 9 th10 & 1 th11... so cant leave out th10s... as all together we hardly make a 10... but we have a rule since some time that any one upgrading heroes is auto off the war...

We have excellent war record since some time of loosing 1 odd war out of 5/6 wars (that too by maybe a single star...or terrible mismatch) since the time I have opted out of wars every 3 wars 2 we loose... people may take a loss but consistent losses & people get disheartened & opt out.. Frankly not all th10 can still 2 star th10s...

anyways Its time to bid adieu to wars for me, too many reasons for this state I feel... Its not just this update but collective of last many updates which has made the situation worse & I know for sure what next step SC takes to correct the problem will be too little too late...

I would blame the following reasons for something so fun as wars to become extinct (atleast for me)

1. Heroes in war...
2. The TH shield gone (this has indirectly affected wars) Personally I used to keep reserves of DE & elix in my 2 accounts just to feed wars & sit at peace with shields... now without shields & constant attacks its not poss...
3. The search criteria being continuously tightened over the last one year for multiplayer, its no longer fun to even farm...
4. the pbts constantly knocking out players... though now its not affecting me since I come online just to collect & do an odd attack...
5. Its imposs to farm fast now & even if the assumed dead bases were not tampered with, I feel it wont make a diff since if dead bases keep getting constantly hit its will run dry & with no shield... no regeneration...

6. War bonus without eeven the present cut was not enough for atleast th9/10s... it never covered my army de / elix spells cost without even counting the donation cost...

the least steps SC could do is first & urgently bring in heroes for wars to show remorse... 2nd make defense war cc permanent...i.e. not fill every war unless one want s to make a change & discards... anyways I think I dont care anymore... lets see how long I can hold on to the normal game too...

SC you have finally killed the hen that laid the golden egg... trying for more greed...
