Should i stay th9.5 or not with this new update?

The main purpose is for war but if i cant farm what can i do

Just a couple multis and you will no longer get hit nearly as often, and I'm sure there are more failed attacks.

I'd never farm a TH10 in my life if I can get away with it, I think a lot of other people feel the same way.

Multi-Infernos are the most OP thing in the game, and it is not even close. I'd just go ahead and get them.

I know for sure that defenses are rough in multiplayer without these structures....
farming is rough as by time i get 300k i lose 300k in one defense to a high th10 or th11

You are not playing as SC intends you to. So no.

Makes no sense for .5s anymore. As th10, you will offer more resources and th9s, th10, th11 will prey on you.
You will get crushed everytime losing more resources, making it difficult to upgrade troops.

Only if you are hardcore and can play 12+ hrs, would it be viable to survive 9.5

Get ur inferno first then

I'm currently a th9.5 and before the update, it was a great way to go. For wars, I've had a blast. Lowest ranked th10, I get low th10 or th9's which I easily 3 star. I got most of my major offensive upgrades done, traps, extra walls and started my teslas.....then the update hit. Now I'm in th9.5 hell. As others have said, I get rolled easily by other th10's and th9's get me pretty good too. Only good thing is I have the troops to hit back as well.

Honeslty, the multiplayer part of clash is dead to me. I'll never be able to save for all the new defenses now, including maxing up infernos. All I do now is dump loot into walls, donate and war 24/7.

I still ill think it's better to upgrade offense before defense but maybe try and do infernos. Won't stop another th10 really, but at least they're a bit more intimidating than a 9.5 base

Am still 9.5, about 6 weeks in with max th9 defs, other than 3 level 8 ads and upgraded traps. All walls are 10s, heroes 32/32...and I get rolled about 1 out of every 3 to 4 defends. Most attackers still struggle. Have zero trouble farming tens, though I'll confess to dropping straight barch for walking queens and gibarch now. Will remain at .5 until the tens above me on the map learn to battle as tens, lol. Good luck!
