So im a new th10( no infernos/new xbow)
should i stay? I hear people say th11 update made changes to where th9.5's are weighted as th10's even without infernos/xbows
I know for sure that defenses are rough in multiplayer without these structures....
farming is rough as by time i get 300k i lose 300k in one defense to a high th10 or th11
Note: i am a maxed th9(walls 80% lvl 10) heroes 27-25

The answer is what your priority is and how hardcore you are.
You can easily thrive as a 9.5 is you accept you will be rolled once a day. If your priority is war, dump your loot in to walls/upgrades before you sign off, and you can continue for months before considering infernos. Stick to DE, upgrade your heroes, and don't worry about the other upgrades.
If you are trying to upgrade your base as quickly as possible, or unable to attack enough to make a daily profit, and need the loot, by all means drop infernos.
If you attack enough and play your shields strategically, 9.5 is the answer. If you don't, go ahead and drop the infernos IMHO.
I was a 9.5 until the update, and dropped infernos. I still rank as the lowest TH10 in my clan and my war duties still include 3 starring the top TH9s, which I can easily do due to max lavaloon and high golem, wizard, and hero levels.

I don't recommend it. .5 is a slow af way of progressing. You'll get reked but a higher th if you don't get maxed infernos, trust me. You get maxed infernos serious a tacks get cut down to 5%.Quote:

Depends on ur troops levels. If they are maxed already. I think u should upgrade to th11 for GW. Th9.5 with GW is strong

i get hit for 300k loot
i get 4 attacks in and maybe get 250k-300k if i subtract troop cost and spells
shield is gone
im hit for 300k loot again
