I fill reqs by gemming troops post-raid, say hi to anyone who is on, set army to cook, log out. Repeat with 2nd char, log out. I raid again on my morning break at work, at lunch with either one or the other char, and at my afternoon break. I usually still have a shield when I get home, so I break the shield on both chars, recook, log out, take the 2nd loss of the day for next shield.
Sometimes I might feel like raiding, sometimes, it's just not worth the hassle and I come read the forums instead, like tonight.
Before the update, I had no need of the forums whatsoever. I was way, WAY too busy playing the Game with passion and hunger. No time for all this nonsense, and no reason to bother.
Now, my playtime is replaced with cruising here, hoping beyond hope for a crumb of official information from SuperCell.
You still seem to believe the best of the company. They broke my heart, and I have no reason to believe the best of them any more. They don't speak on their own behalf and leave their forum mods out here with their butts hanging in the breeze. When they show that kind of disregard for their own people on their own forums... what regard should I expect for myself? Frankly, I expect them to disregard me, the way the 'real chief' form letter does.

prior to the change, this game allowed me to have a nearly maxed 8, two th9 (one nearly maxed - except walls and heroes) and a mid level th10. The base didn't build itself. It was a grind to build it up. Building resources, attacking with an army that was economical when raiding and then participating in wars. But I cannot progress in this game without being able to retain rsources. So I either have to change the way I play (I refuse to do so), accept that I won't be able to progress and simply fight wars or quit. Those are the choices people are facing and the ones that are expressing their ire are doing so because they are being forced to make that same decision. I want to emphasize Forced.
A case in point is the poison spell, it ruined the use of cc troops in war and defence and now people use golems, dragons and hounds in their clan castle when defending. A few people complained but in the end the change was so minor we as a player base let it go. I believe the pressure needs to be kept up because the compensation for losing the th snipe is well under par.
Their attempts to make us play the game the way that think it should be played. Rather then saying wait we didn't mean for the game to turn out like it did put people are loving it so how do we continue to make it better?Quote:
