Your village/game progress+time/money not safe w/ gamecenter/google+ alone

If i hear another person say, "just backup ur town with gamecenter/google+" im gonna puke. I still hear about people losing their towns even with the stupid gamecenter/google+. Why cant we have a name(account) and a password so we can add backup emails and have security questions? Why does SC want it to be possible to lose your village? Idk, but im not gonna spend any money on a game that you could lose all your progress. I advise everyone to get on SC's back untill they give us accounts and passwords with backup email and security questions before you lose your village

Even if u backup ur town with gc or google ur not safe. And supercell wont just hand ur town over if u lose it. So if u dont want to lose ur town support this idea

Care to offer proof, or even an example of your claims ?

The only people who have lost villages that I have read about, have either sold their device with cleaning it correctly, shared their credentials with another person (either accidentally or deliberately) or forgotten their credentials. So of these people *have* recovered their villages contrary to your statements and some have lost them again because they don’t learn.

All of these are preventable and none of them are impossible under your proposed solution.

False!

I have successfully transferred my account several times via game center and google, and it is REALLY easy to do. It only takes a few seconds to make sure your account is safely connected to an Apple ID or a Google account and from there it's just a matter of remembering your account and password. (Which is exactly what you suggested anyway) Anybody who loses their account only has themself to blame.

They are too busy complaining about change and not offering solutions to a currently broken system that could make it just as enjoyable.

Acually linking this to Google and gamecenter are perfectly safe. The only way your village can be lost is if you are stupid enough to unlink it

As far as i am concerned your game data is perfectly safe on G+/Gamecenter until and unless you do some idiocy with your google / game center accounts so be careful with whatever you do :facepalm:.

Then ud have to find sumone with an iphone then link to the new device with their phone. Id like to be able to add an email and security questions regardless of the g+\gamecenter. U could use the password to keep ppl from logging in on ur phone as well

you can still transfer from apple to android and vica verca

Even if gc or g+ will backup ur town id like to b able to log into my account and put a password and security questions on it. And if my iphone breaks and i buy an android i can log into my town and select link my device. So y r u guys being dumb and not supporting this idea?
