Maybe I like to just build my base with collectors and socialize with friends and family (family clan). If I am one of these people, why do I need skill? Why would I even care? But apparently my way of playing is the wrong way. Get that TH back inside your base! This is a game of skill! You need to attack and defend!
You do realize there are games where people just build up their bases, cities, restaurants, etc. without any outside interaction, right? Clash has the ability to be this type of game, as well as many other game types.
That the game could be played in so many different ways is what has made it fun for me. I do feel that this update has taken some of the fun out of the game. (only some, I still love my clash)

Let's face it. It takes skill to farm. Either with dead bases, storages, or league bonus. Your progress, per a certain period of time, is your reward.
Which is why the update is terrible.
This is why (SC)ammers's scam is too ugly.
(SC)ammers announced they are killing farming/making the game the way it's "supposed to be played". They also brought the concept of "Real Chief" along with their responses.
This is why people are against each other.

But in reality, they are just nerfing everyone's progress. Creating that bottleneck of progress that would be relieved by the one and only way: gemming.
There's no other word to describe it but Evil. You don't create social disturbance just to hide your money-grabbing. Just like you don't falsify WMD report as an excuse to invade a country.
I think many players that using barchers for getting a loot have a skill too, dont be naive, in this game you must know the difference about getting loot and skills that use in wars.
Are the skilled players need skill to improve their village and make it bigger? Think smartly, many players need to improve their village, its hard to improve my village when the new feature of loot coming.
It's a big difference about skills that use in a loot and that use in wars, so dont be easy to judged when someone loot using a barchers is an unskilled players or that the players are dont have a skill.
