Defense is the most stupid thing to do at that moment

I am surprised that u guys don't see as a problem.

I played coc for long time. Ow, I Won't be max th9.

Before dec 10 update, it is fine. The frequency that th10/9 attacks th9/8 is low if u put ur th outside.

Now all attacks will get ur at least 1/5 of ur loots. It is not fine now. Because I want my good defense is able to defense what I can really defense about as a game. High lvl th max attack is undefenseable. That's the problem

Even SC recognized the issue, and say high th will less likely to able to attack low th in the latest update. And increase the penalty.

It is just that the problem still exist. They need to fix it to have a more balance game. I am okay that a premature th10 attack me. But I see lvl40 king and queen with all max troops.

Don't tell me you've never attacked a TH lower than you?

So what if they have maxed troops, They might still need to upgrade walls and how else will the farm?

The loot is even worse at TH10 and now the also get attacked by TH11s.

If you don't want to get attacked by higher THs then gem to TH11.

The OP has a valid point. The th snipe was covering up a lot of flaws in the game design. Maybe the loot penalty should be increased. I certainly can't use my experience as a th8 or th9 to judge. We're playing a totally different game now.

Why th11 can attack th10 as well? You get max troop in th10. Go attack other th10. If a new th11 can 3 stars th10 easily, that's a problem as well.

I don't understand why you guys treat me as noob. Yet I am just stating the common problem that a lot of ppl frustrating on for this new system.

if you are having trouble at master, drop to silver.

I sort of agree with the OP. With TH out, you wouldn't get hit by TH above you very often. Now, you are getting pummeled by them.

I only hit TH9s because there are no TH8s in Champs. I think I've seen one in the past 5 days. Fully maxed Th8 with full storages, I crushed him for 90% with Super Queen. Could have gotten 100 but didn't want to waste my rages.

What's the problem? Both scenarios give you a shield.

Attack 2-3 times through the shield. Profit.

Not really. The OP is just observing the effects of not hiding behind a shield. There were plenty of Leagues where you where steamrolled by higher th than you pre-update, th in or th out, and we lived with that at the time.

Blame the update for being attacked because you can’t hide behind exposed th.
Don’t blame the update for being attacked by higher th.

I agree with you. One thing i realized long ago when i was in th8, was that it was the first time the game felt really unbalanced. Prior th8, i was always able to 3 star bases of the same level as me with cheap troops as long as i used the right strategy. This was an exception starting with th8. It was still possible but people had to use expensive troops (aka Dragons) which pretty much a dump the fiery lizards, sit back and watch. This can be evidently seen in war.

And from that point on, th9 and th10 became even more unbalanced. A maxed th9 could not 2 star another maxed th9 unless players used GoWiPe armies. And because th10 sat for way too long adding more defenses and walls, when it is maxed, it becomes untouchable unless GoWiPe is used.

The adding of freeze spell to th9 actually balanced the game by allowing 3 stars. But the problem is that people who didn't have it before had to go through some pain. And they don't want the current th9 have it easy because it wasn't easy for them before.

Ironically, the easiest thing to upgrade right now are defenses since gold is actually a lot easier to get than elixir which is what's needed for troop upgrades for the offensive.
