Mano a Mano TallyWacker of Exploited VS. MasterofFlame of Skybears

I'm not 100% sure tallywacker has a forum account but he/she is part of exploited so I thought this would be a fun thread.
Anyways, Tallywacker decided to drop a troop of me while going to sub200. For a week I have waited to attack, for a week I have clicked the revenge button to see village owner online or shielded.

However today I got my revenge. My goal was the DE. I would have liked to use rage but I didn't want to risk loosing the opportunity to attack while waiting for the rage to cook.

One thing to tallywacker, Very nice position of spring traps.

edit: and yes i did lightning his DE. (Saving up for the queen)

Obvious spring traps location are obvious haha..
especially since there wasnt any tomb stones also.

The initial gap between the wall was surprising though, considering that he is from exploited, i think it was intended, pretty nice trick.

I personally would have attacked from top left, to enter the mortar blind spot asap.
Not to mention cutting the base in half, from top left would mean 2 gold + 1 de.

Nice raid, though its technically not a mano a mano since his raid on you was a 1 troop drop lol :)

Nono, don't misunderstand :eek:

We are all still learning, mate :)

Only thing i'd say is yes, lure the CC and possibly lightning if they are all archers/barbs.

I'd also have activated his King and then drawn him up to the TH and quickly destroyed with 2 or 3 minions. It took quite a few barbs / archers where you could have used them later.

Possibly deploy more giants earlier to cover for your archers / barbs.

Those traps were very well placed and made a huge difference. What is the solution to this? Do people send in 1 giant or some goblins to trigger first?

Sloppy and major failure on your attack. I find it interesting that the barbarian didn't trigger the spring trap and only giants did. :)

Watching your video has made me feel better about myself :)
