Stop looking for dead bases and attack properly. Simple really.
Wait 6-7 hours and more dead bases should pop up XD
Otherwise try really low leagues (Bronze 1 / Silver 3) I have clanmates down there they say it's good
Things seem good at Champion, and Masters too. The bonuses there really compound decent loot right now (I won't touch anything under 100K / 100K / 2000 DE and am nexting about 15 or 20 times (mostly just to find another th9 as I haven't really figured a strategy for attacking inferno towers yet).
