Why I don't want to go back to barching

I have to agree, I am actually enjoying the game more with bigger armies.

i hope TH sniping stays buried

Me too, and I'm a much better player for it...

So the players are now split between those who love/need TH sniping, and those who never want to see it return

Though allmout war armys aren't needed, I agree much strong armys prior to update are needed (along with all heros)...mainly due to the increased league

Those training times would be awesome...But im afraid I have to disagree with the gems comment

Even with a bigger army all on boost, spells/heros included... the wait is still half an hour inbetween 3minute raids

This to me just isn't an incentive for me to boost anymore...not even close in fact :/

If they made it so that I could have a full army ready within 5/10 mins of finishing an attack... well, that would (unfortunately) coax much more gems out of me...I suspect it would with many others too

On a side note, same with the collector boost...id NEVER ever spend 10gems a day. Keep it at 1 and I would buy them daily...that's 17gems a day they can have that I wouldn't have spent previously 🤔

Both options were possible before the patch, I don't see why they can't make that work again.

For me personally, this is not necessary, as I enjoy using strong armies and trying to get in higher leagues. I just want more reward for it and shorter troop construction times.

Only ever used barch and am still using it. Still finding loot I'm not mad.

I did/do.
But I was also playing old good Doom using nothing higher than shotgun throughout the game and use only stock cars in Gran Turismo. I just enjoy using absolute minimum means to get maximum result.
Barch is/was just another self-set challenge I enjoy(ed).

I think I can see why...having both options available is like having two difficultly settings for he same game

It was possible to progress and farm without TH sniping, but why make life harder for yourself if it can be made easier...especially if it meant you could progress that bit quicker

I would not like to see a return to TH sniping even though (a) I benefitted from it enormously and (b) I am not convinced the post update economy is balanced.

I'd rather see them rebalance in other ways beside a rollback of th sniping which always seemed like a flawed mechanic to me - albeit a hugely popular one (for obvious reasons).

Barching and heavier army styles were both options before and they are both options now. Sure, the incentives and efficiencies have changed but neither option is removed. I've seen threads from people in the last 24 hours who seem to be making both approaches work for them.

It seems as if you keep equating barching with sniping, just feel the need to correct that.....they are much different.
