New Heroes without being OP

great idea i support it:D The alters could change appearances guys. It needs more detail for supercell to add this to the game like details on troops eg damage per second, hitpoints, cost levels they go up to and how about 4 heroes and you unlock bk on th 7 and another 1 on th 8 and th9 archer queen and th10. Keep in mind that th 8 hero must be more powerful than a barbarian king but less powerful than an archer queen and complications like if you get the second alter on th8 or you only have 1 alter until th 9. I think there should be tier 1 heroes therefore giving different attack strategies and not overpowering them completely, dude imgine a flying IMMORTAL UNIT(ballon/dragon hero) or a wizard that is immortal and has GOOD HEALTH(That would be death in a update) and an even more powerful P.E.E.K.A.having a goblin king possibly for th 8(Archers are more preferred than goblins and barbarians therefore making this an obvious choice and I'm not sure if a giant queen/king( so it will have 2 of each gender in heroes) because it some people will suggest stats more powerful than a golem therefore making an immortal tank

I know that many times on this forum it has been stated that people want more heroes from each troop type, and I have also read the drawbacks to this, I might have devised a solution. Instead of buying heroes with dark elixir buy the alters that house them, you can limit the number of alters available to 2 and have maybe 10 heroes to choose from.

You would level up each individual hero the same as you do now, except they would be interchangeable

You could at all times have 2 heroes for attacking and defending just like now only there would be more heroes to choose from

1. This would give higher leveled players something to use DE for if they already have upgraded heroes
2. If these different heroes had different abilities it might add more strategy to battles

Now if your hero died you couldn't just swap them out for a healthy one, you could make it to where you can only exchange heroes when their health is full

Again I apologize if this has already been suggested, and please let me know what you guys think about this

This is perfect. There's so many ideas for new heroes, but just imagine a base with 5 heroes running around!

A bit late, but nevertheless I like it. I had something like this in mind for quite a while,but I was taking a lot of inspiration from a similar game who have already implemented it(BYM) so I decided against it. What sort of heroes would be available? One I really wanted was a tanking hero, as the Bk literally is useless at defending. Tanking hero would be able to draw a swarm of troops which the defenses could target and destroy.

I say that this is a great idea but heroes based on ee should use ee to upgrade and heroes based on de us de to upgrade and u have a de alter and a ee alter and u only can have the goblin king if u defeat the goblin campaign.
