I used barb archer as a Th8 to get to 2100 trophies.
How difficult of bases did you attack, and how long did it take to get to 2,100? I've lost my last 2 attacks, and it brought me trophies down from 1990 to 1950
Look for easy 50% percent bases.
If you want sure wins, then try out the drag, baloon, minion strategy. As a TH 7 it brought me to 2288 and it was pretty successful IMO. I'm sure it will work even better when your baloons are lvl 5.Quote:

I use 4 drag, 14 baloon, 20 minion and 10 archers. I triple light the CC and AD at the same time.
Be patient when looking for matches, this can take 15+ mins
I think its quite possible to get one star wins with 1/3 barbs, 2/3 archers.
OP, If I were you, I will farm hard to get lvl5 troops before trying my hand at cups.
If you persist, try barbs and archer combo like others suggested
So, far I have been using 100 barb and 100 archers, idk if I should change the ratio, but it has gotten me to 2105 at my peak.
Barb/arch/giant/wb :D I go to 2500 with this amry ^^ with NO attack lost
What ratio of troops did you use? I have tried 10 giants, 8 wbs, and the rest half and half barbs and archers. And what level were they?
