Healer that simply does not heal

Hello everybody. The bug I wanted to report consists in this: while doing a war attack, I tried to use the 1 archer and healer tactic to distract the enemy cc lava hound. After dropping the archer I put the healer next to her but the healer didn't heal the archer at all. I dropped a second archer that started to receive damage from the hound and the healer didn't heal her neither. Has there been any changes in the game or was it a bug? Anyway I'd like you to fix it as soon as possible.

Hello, healers will only heal groups of troops. In order to get this to work you will have to drop AT LEAST 2 archers on exactly the same spot.

But it seems to only be meant for multiple healers...

That's all I see on made changes.
However, there are other posts here, about the AI, even Healer AI, that seems to show other changes or bugs.

You are talking about the effectiveness change that took place with the latest update. This report is about actually healing and following a single archer. Healers will only follow and heal groups of troops (2 housing spaces plus), its like this for a while now.

Is this why most people use 2 archers and 1 healer?

Are you sure? In the same war I saw how 5 healers focused in healing one hog that was isolated

Once dropped, a healer will heal solo, but only after multiple have been dropped.
So I'm guessing, there was more than just the one hog at first.

Yes im sure. Hog riders take up 5 housing spaces (considered a group) but archers only 1.
To make it easier to understand, healers will follow and heal any troop that needs 2 slots or a group of troops(2 and up).

You replies are appreciated but I am sorry that SC don't keep their word. Healers in some confusing situations still heals single one-housing unit. I do have reported such bug to supporters, they say that it will be sent to the higher advisors but I am quite sure that they will not do anything in short or long time.
