Dark Elixir

Is there any strategy to getting dark elixir at th7?

In order to raid high amounts of dark elixir, you will need to go above 1850 trophies. Unfortunately, the dark elixir storages are generally well protected as well and may be hard to get to with level 4 troops.

Not really, I got a lv 5 burger king at TH7. Got trophies up and used lots of dragons.

Best to do it when you have no elixir jobs left so the cost becomes immaterial.

Im th7 upgrading to th8. I stay between 1200 and 1300, it takes a lot of time finding descent DE bases. Most of the time I get loots around the 500-800 DE.

I would like to know if there is any special guide of troops to get them, since is just one resource that Im trying to aim.

Seriously though lvl 2 dragons can take on those tough bases at 1600+ for 1,000-2,000 DE. Max your barracks, queue up the night before and be picky. I used 40 minions to lower the elixir cost and to increase the time I could ride my queue from the night before. That was about 280 DE but I always made way more than that anyway.

They both just described last week for me lol! Seriously i went to 1500 went with dragons and got bk to 5.

I saw one floating aroud in the question forum.

Im on 1650 at min and i am robbing between 350 to 500 D E every so often. Say 5-6 attacks.having to pass a lot of bases to pick a profitable attack. But If he is higher TH and a big stash i might go for it and not break even on the gold i spend on spells.
Im liking a rage spell at some point near the start, to break the cells open and then rush in.

Yep, dragons at 1400 is great. Last night i was making about 300-600 per, with a few 1k's mixed in, 3 dragons per with minions backup.

Skip if DE is centered, attack if it's to the side.

To get the king i used lightning spells and would cycle through (while I was at silver second class) till i found a guy with lots and used lightning spells on him and attacked his drills with goblins if they were on the edge

You realize that tactic is most likely to get you a nasty revenge? Just sayin'. ;)

i'm using barb - arch - wb (cook time : 21 min), wandering off at 1400 for base with gold walls (TH7 or TH8), usually got 300 DE and 50k - 200k gold and elixir each (still need gold to get purple walls)

don't forget to queue your barracks before raiding, it can safe up to 5 min cooking time

and also check your defense log for higher base, they usually have good amount of DE..
