AN observation of quality of life post-update
You know who's crazy? Those guys who log on every 4 hours, even waking up from sleep to click their collectors so nobody can steal their loot.
I always laughed at those people. If I got raided, I got raided. Got my shield, they got loot. Fair trade.
I ran into a friend of mine who's in a very prestigious clan and he is very into CoC. I have all but quit, stopped gemming, and just play whenever my other games are now on downtime. Yet another wallet user gone from CoC's purchase ranks.
Point is, I saw him, and he looked like ♥♥♥♥. I mean REALLY ♥♥♥♥.
We sat down and had a long talk. And this one line stuck with me.
'Man. I think I'm about done. I haven't slept more than a solid hour since the update hit. **HE WORKS FOR HIMSELF VERY SUCCESSFULLY JUST TO POINT THIS ABERRANT BEHAVIOR OUT** I have three alarms set for every hour so I can collect. I've gotten ONE shield since the update landed and I was so sleep deprived that I slept the entire shield, and then was back to 1 hour looting. I'm a near maxed TH10 and all I can do is dump for walls because I sure as SHIZ not able to hold in 8mil gold or elixir. I just want to be able to sleep and not stress about this game.'
And with this he took a long sip of his coffee and let out a long sigh. He really looked decrepit.
This is a guy who I know has dumped over a grand into CoC. He's dedicated his time to helping a significantly amazing clan bloom and blossom. And now he's got no sleep schedule whatsoever because he cares too much about his game. He won't gem for shields just so he can sleep because he rightfully thinks that that's just stupid and if Supercell thinks we should gem shield to sleep they're just as ignorant.
Point blank.
You are ruining sections of lives, Supercell. Fix this. Do whatever you have to, or your game will bomb. It would show so much maturity if you could just say, 'Hey. We screwed up. Our bad. We're going to revert and refund some things.' Short term loss. Long term win. Permanent loyalty.
But whatever. Do what you want. You're already melting customers faster than WoW with the WoD content drought.
