Should I upgrade to TH10?

I've maxed defenses and troops, 100 lavas and the rest are legos, King lvl 25 and Queen lvl 20.
Is it much easier to defend loot at TH10, or harder now that there are TH11's?
is loot much more difficult to come by? Currently using Lavaloonion in Master 1.

I know there are a million threads out there about this, I just wanted to see if the update changed anyone's opinion.

I personally think you should get Lvl 25 heroes before going to TH10.

I was thinking that. Would it not be easier with the extra drill though?

I am in the same situation as a maxed TH 9 with 106 Lavas and BK23 AQ23 in Crystal 1. I want to bring my heroes up before I move on, but the largest impediment is just waiting to see how this new update "shakes out" in the next few weeks. Farming gains are certainly slower since the update and TH10 has large expensive upgrades.

Also still pondering if I want to be a "newbie" around all those well developed TH10's and newly minted TH11's with so large upgrades; right now as a TH9 I do not see many of them visiting (TH10). Still need time to mull it over!

I have also toyed with the idea of taking all the "pain" at once and bypassing TH10 an going to TH11; a few different upgrades but essentially TH11 is similar to a TH10 upgrade.

Before the update I'd have said no question work on a few more lavas while you get the queen to 25.

Afterwards though I just don't know. Seems like getting those infernos does wonders for protecting loots and a 3rd drill makes dark easier to produce. Although I do hear complaint threads every day of "I'm losing too much loot because no one can 30% my base".

So in conclusion, I just don't know.

This seems like it could be disaster unless you can farm like crazy. TH9 defenses and TH11 available loot. Won't Th10s and 11s be taking over 500K of each when they steam roll you?

Surely if they're getting to the loot they're getting 30%?

I'm a 9 and since the update I have never had anyone take significant loot without also getting at least 30% so I agree with you.

But I see daily threads with - "ZOMG I was attacked 5 times and lost 10K DE before I got a shield." I have no clue how that happens apparently it is a thing.

With the addition of TH11, it will be at least a little harder to defend loot as a TH10. I wouldn't go TH10 until your walls or heroes are done.

Stay away from TH10 as long as you can :smirk:



Just went to TH10 4 days ago, my loot is REALLY BAD and I'm losing so much more than when I was on TH9
