Your device isn't compatible with this version.

Hi,

I JUST got out of my mobile carrier store, Bell Canada, with this brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 4, model number SM-N910W8 running android 5.0.1.

First thing I wanted to install on it what Clash Of Clans. Well, Google Play was not even showing me Clash of Clans in my search results, probably because of inner filter preventing incompatible apps to be displayed, but when I looked at My Apps -> All Apps and looked up Clash of Clans, I get "Your device isn't compatible with this version".

Also, when accessing play store from my PC's browser running Chrome, it tells me Clash of Clans is not compatible will all my devices. When I click that, my Galaxy Note 4 has the X beside it, telling me it isn't compatible.

I am sure this must be an omission, the galaxy note 4 must not even be close to not being able to play this game since I played it with my note II without a hitch for this long.

May you please fix this?
I will try to find a mirror for the apk in the mean time.

not compatible after the winter-update

My device is also not compatible with the app anymore, but the funny thing is that the app was compatible before the winter-update. After it, the app disappeared from the store for me too.
My device is a LG G Flex 2. I tried every step mentioned above from shivampaw, but this doesn't help at all...
Can someone add the Flex 2 to the compatible list again? And why would somebody delete it anyways?

Ok firstly there is no compatible list. It's a bug with the play store.

I just bought a samsung galaxy note 4, it was released late 2014, it's only been a year and getting this bug...I tried what this user said, cleared data, still can't download, it says it's not compatible and I leave for work travel in 2 days, I really wanted to finish setting this up and use it more than my iphone so I can use my iphone for music and work calls and my tablet for tech work and manuals, even hot spot my phone and this is the only thing I've came to a halt with, I have a clan, I'm over lvl 40 my clan mates are 40-90 and were at war I'd love to see what the game looks like on a larger screen like a tablet but this isn't working...help?

Samsung galaxy tab s 10.5 not supported

I just upgraded tablets and the first thing I wanted to do was download my doc but I went to pull it up and could not find it. So I went to my apps and found it but it says my device is not supported. I really don't want to give up playing clash of clans. Please support my device. I had clash on this tab but reset the tab to factory defaults as it was running impossibly slow but suddenly my device is incompatible? I was literally playing a few hours before on the same tablet.... I logged on after the maintenence window did my war attack and then reset.. please fix

Not sure what happened. But I wasn't able to hit the Google sign in button on the in game settings of my C.O.C account so Uninstalled app n now it's not compatible. Pls help I'm a leader of a lvl7 clan and a max th9. MUST CLASH

Posted a thread about it and supercell must have done something because a few hours later it switched over to being compatible and I was able to download it. Thanks for the response though.

Meu dispositivo também não é compatível com o aplicativo mais, mas o engraçado é que o aplicativo é compatível antes do update-inverno. Após isso, o aplicativo desapareceu da loja para mim também.
Meu dispositivo é um SONY XPERIA EI.
Alguém pode adicionar o XPERIA EI para o lista compatível de novo? E por que alguém excluí-lo de qualquer maneira?

I have same issue and I tried to clear cache for store, but it didn't help. I have Asus MemoPad 7 with 5.0 (latest update from 20150917) :( I have never had this issue before.

I got it to work

I cleared the Download Manager data and cache, and that seems to have fixed it.

You might need to look under the "Running" tab under Application Manager to find it.

I was able to play last night before bed. Wake up to update and when i go to play store says not compatible. I jave tried clearing the data and cache already.

coc apk done, can't update

Because I can't search coc in playstore I downloaded the apk file for coc and installed it. When i opened it it said it has a new update so i clicked update and it went to play store. And again i cant update it because it says my device is not compatible. Where do i download the update aside from playstore? My device is LG G4 stylus

This is a problem with Play Store. You can either follow the instructions in Twister's post (3rd post on this page) or download the apk from the link I gave in this post.

Or, you could follow the instructions above and not have to install any extra software. If you are experiencing problems with CoC the forums should be your first port of call.

This happened to me just now on my backup LG Magna. It wasn't showing up on the Play Store and I play Clash 5-6 times a day!

I was pretty distraught, but then I updated Google Play Store, and Google Play Services, cleared cache and it turned up on the Play Store. Yay!

Well i cannot play COC on my Samsung Galaxy Core Prime LTE, i had it running sweet as on my Samsung Galaxy J2, and bought another phone because my J2 broke.

Really disappointed it wont work on the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime LTE because i had a sweet as base, and met some real awesome people in my Clan - now i cant continue, really disappointed.

Supercell - is there anyway you could fix this and make my device Compatible please? COC is such a awesome game, and i dont want to lose it.

EDIT: It has now appeared after searching for "Supercell". Searching for "Clash of Clans" never showed up on my Samsung Galaxy Core Prime LTE. So doing this worked.

My COC characters look distorted and blurry

Hey supercell my COC working fine but every cOC character look distorted blurred like which makes it uncomfortable to recognise characters. I have a videocore IV 312 mhz graphic engine if that helps.. i hope this would be resolved in next update maybe

It would be better if you made your own thread about this and included more details (device you are using, when this problem started, had you made any changes before this problem started, etc).

The problem is coming from the playstore. The link provided by Twister will give you steps towards fixing this. My device was said to be incompatible even though it met version requirements, and after going through step 1 it worked for me.

I have pasted the fix from the previous page for you. The apk linked elsewhere in this thread is for an older version of CoC so would not be useful

I'm experiencing problems as well. Two days ago I was able to play clash of clans and clash royale no problem. Then all of a sudden this morning I noticed I couldn't connect to Google play store. So I Uninstalled clash of royale and still couldn't connect. Ended up factory resetting my phone because I noticed other Internet related problems. Now everything is working just fine but when I search for a clash game it won't come up and when I do manage to find it, it says my device is incompatible which I know is bullcrap since I was just playing those on the same phone a few days ago.
Any suggestions?

If you had read the thread that you posted to you would have see that this is a Google Play problem and the solution has been posted multiple times within it, most recently 6 posts prior to your post, on the same page.

Well thanks a lot for ruining all my works so far, tried everything mentioned in this forum, nothing works!
Tried uninstalling and downloading again, now I cant even download, says my device (LG-G3) in not compatible.
Tried downloading apk. file from links in this forum, still doesn't work.
Do something if possible...

Open your device's main Settings app.
Touch Apps or Application manager (depending on your device, this may be different).
Touch Google Play Store > Clear cache > Clear data.
Touch the back arrow .
Select Download Manager > Clear cache > Clear data.
Restart Device

Can you visit http://portquiz.net:9339 and see the page there? If not you will need to ask your service provider/network admin to open port 9339.

You can also try a different connection method (WiFi/cellular) and see if that resolves the issue.

Hi

Go to your phone setting>apps>all apps> choose Google play and then clear data, press back and choose downloader or download manager and choose clear data. Restart the phone, Open Google play and it will allow you to update the game.

This solution works 90% of times. If you want to download the apk file, you have to download the latest version: 8.332.2

In your device's settings clear the Play Store cache and data, the Download Manager cache and data and restart your device.

Hi I have just purchased a Chinese brand (BDF brand) tablet running android 4.4.2. Clash of Clans was not displayed in the Google app store, there is no cache to clear as no other google apps have been installed on the tablet). I have downloaded the APK as suggested in the earlier post and installed it, however when I start the app it is now wanting to update. and off course loads the google play store which again says 'Your device isn't compatible with this version'. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I just restored my phone because of a virus attacked i fixed the problem, but now when i go to play store i searched clash of clans and i cant see it. I tried the google search up version and it says "your device is not compatible" but i was just using it on this phone and now i cant. My phones a LG optimus

So do as has been stated multiple times in this thread, twice on this page, and clear the Play Store cache and data.

Resolution tweak solved s7 compatibility

I am today so immensly happy that after a week or so after coming of new update doing so many settings changes like..instaling apk from sites..clearing all caches of coc n play store..power save mode settings ...NOTHING WORKED...but then finally...finally just did 2 steps and all set for update...

1. Close al apps ,IF possible uninstal clas of clans..make sure ur account is connected to game center before uninstall...then

go to settings --> display --> screen resolution --> change it to WQHD (2560 x 1440)

2. Then go to settings --> apps --> google play store --> storage --> clear data n clear cache.

CLOSE ALL APPS , GO TO PLAY STORE AND THERE U HAVE COC IS BACK AND READY FOR INSTALLATION !!..ENJOY...

Hello and welcome to the forums. This is not an issue with SC’s developers but with Google Play Store (it happens in a bunch of apps). Have you tried the following ?...

1. Open your app drawer
2. Select “Settings”
3 Go to APPS
4. Locate “Google Play Store” and select it (may have to go to all apps/category)
5. Click on “Clear Data” and “Clear Cache”
6. Now try to download CoC again from the Play Store
